Flawless performance
We ordered this part to replace worn out blade in our Vita-Mix "Super 5000" which we have owned for at least 15 years now. This part installed easily and it works exactly like the original. We use our machine a lot, every day, and I have been using this replacement part for some two months now, and I can report the performance has been perfect. Our old machine is like new again. A new Vita-Mix is expensive, so we highly recommend replacing parts like this one rather than buying a new machine. Great experience with this product in all regards, including on-time delivery.

Genuine Vitamix ice blade
I'm really happy that Amazon provide prime shipping for this product. At first, I'm kind of confused by the description. It said Genuine OEM replacement part, so I don't know it's genuine Vitamix brand or OEM brand made by other manufacturer. I asked the seller and they said it's genuine Vitamix brand. There are other OEM blade sold in Amazon but I don't think the quality is as good as the genuine one.

Expensive but works as it should
Don't waste your time and money on cheap imitations because they will not be balanced properly and vibrate like crazy. This unit worked great.

Works well.
I blunted the original blade because I had accidentally left a fork in the blender and than turned it on. I use the vitamin pretty much every day for the past 5 years to make fruit and vegetable smoothies without having to change the blade. I purchased these blades because they were inexpensive at the time. They work well but not as well as the original blades for my purpose because the blade design and angle are different. That being said, I'm happy with this purchase for the price.
