Not as described

As per the operating manual, this waffle maker did not come with a measuring cup nor does it beep at any stage of the heating/cooking process. Made a test waffle and followed the instructions but the waffle did not come out intact - it split in half from the top to bottom plates when I opened to remove the waffle. Will be returning.

Minor quality issues out of the box but it works decently

The top on this is loose, so that might be what caused the inconsistencies I had. It seemed like one side cooked just a tiny bit crispier then the other. Once I got used to this, it worked fine. I will be fiddling with it and see if I can tighten the top plate down better. If I can, that will make this a great waffle maker, but as it came it is only medium for quality issues. If I can fix it I will update. It is one of those things that I wouldn't return the waffle maker over, but it also makes it difficult to recommend it. And it might just be a few loose screws! The size is nice, and it is pretty simple to use. I typically need to use pam on things like this, it could be something in the water in my house. But just a light spray made a huge difference. There is an overflow area which was nice and kept the mess off the counters. It did heat up quickly and made the waffles in a reasonable amount of time. Family was happy and I liked how everything functioned overall.

Basic waffle iron

This is a plain-Jane waffle maker. I followed the instructions for preparing the waffle maker by wiping with a damp towel, drying it, then spraying with cooking oil. The instructions indicated that the maker would beep when it was ready and when finished cooking, but the one I have didn’t beep at all. There’s no locking mechanism to hold the lid down and I had to just guess at when the waffles were done. As in the photo, the first one stuck, but after spraying with oil between each baking, there was no more sticking. Also, the instructions mentioned an included measuring cup, but there was none. I used one I already had. I did try the recipe included with the maker and the waffles tasted good. For a basic waffle maker, this one is okay; but, I think you could get the same results from one at a lesser cost. Or, spend a little more and get a better one.

Waffles for all

This is a good, basic, waffle maker. It's simple to use, with just one control knob for the temp. There are two lights that indicate that it is on and when it has reached temp. It works well (you may notice my waffles are a bit uneven but that is because I free poured the batter). It's non-stick and the waffles came out easily. The only thing I don't like about it is that the plates are not removable for cleaning. The directions say to wipe down, but I prefer washing in the sink. Of course, you can't do that when it's a box with electronics in it. Wiping down worked fine for me at this stage. Overall, I am very happy with this item.

Non-Stick Fast Waffles!

This is a good waffle maker! I love the size and how fast they cook! I like the reservoir around the maker to catch excess mix, and I love how fast it cooks! The recipe that comes with it is pretty good as well, I tweaked the recieved add more vanilla, but it’s good! One thing of note, each waffle spot is 1/2 a cup of mix. Any more than that and it will overflow. I also wish that the dial would be more descriptive, in order to get light brown waffles I had to go all the way to the 5. All in all it’s an amazing waffle maker, my family loved them!

Delicious waffles

Wonderful waffle maker. They came out great, the sensor was wonderfully precise. Very easy to clean. The only down side is that you have to make four. We tried to make just 2 and the waffle was not done as the indicator said.

Useable

Waffles come out ok, but not consistent. Not too many bells and whistles on this unit. Only worth it if you have lots to make. Use plenty of oil, kthwerise it'll stick.

No Fuss Wafflemaker

So many appliances offer way to many functions for my brain and I love this no fuss “VEVOR Waffle Maker 1200W Square Waffle Iron, Non-Stick Waffle Baker Machine with Five-setting Browning Controls,…”. VEVOR products look and function like much higher priced elite products for a fraction of the price. I am ecstatic about this waffle maker. It works well and you can decide how crisp you want you affixes with a test batch. They even provide a wonderful homemade recipe that i would add a spoonful of malted flavoring (Fiona in most cereal aisles). As with any appliance, be careful when using around children as they heat up quickly and the outside has hot spots too. I love this waffle maker and can’t wait to create a slew of other recipes using fun ingredients! I love it!
