Do not size up in the band

I usually wear a 38C in Vanity Fair, and based on reviews, I bought a 40B. I definitely should have stuck with the 38C. The bra is indeed nearly invisible, but, perhaps due to the sizing issue, it is also nearly invisible in terms of support. It does prevent excessive jiggle and headlights, but otherwise, you can't really tell I have a bra on at all. The lining is very light, but sufficient for me to prevent the abovementioned issues. I am a fairly large woman, as you can judge from my size (although I am also quite tall and have a big rib cage -- actual bone, not just fat), and I am in my 50s, so the fact those issues are dealt with and the bra is comfortable does make it worth the price, I suppose. However, I have other Vanity Fair bras that turn my pears into nicely lifted apples that are held in place to an amazing degree, and I far prefer those!

Very Large Cups

This is a nice quality but cups are larger than the other Vanity Fair bra I ordered at the same time.

Odd sizing?

I’ve worn Vanity Fair bras almost exclusively for over 25 years and have found the sizing to be highly consistent, which is why I was surprised when this one just wasn’t quite right. In order to get any “lift” from the cups, I had to shorten the straps so much that the back portion rode up between my shoulder blades. Very odd. I’m afraid this one will go in the “need to do laundry soon” pile. The quality (fabric, construction, etc) is still VF top-notch. No complaints there. This particular style just wasn’t the right fit.

Good bra, just didn't fit me.

The plastic support sticks in the sides rubbed my skin raw.

When it arrived I tried it on and liked the fit, but I only had it on a few minutes. The first day I wore it, within an hour it was poking me under my arms. I was gone all day and had no opportunity to change it. Had red welts under my arms where the plastic side support sticks rubbed. I've decided not to send it back because I like the fit. Instead, I snipped the fabric casings at the bottom of the fabric "sleeve" holding in the plastic sticks and removed the torture devices. I also used tiny, sharp scissors to trim back the layers of bulky fabric with rough finish at the top of the "sleeve." Whoever designed this bra needs to be forced to wear it for a day.

Fits ok but uncomfortable because of verticle bars on the side

I find the vertical bars on the sides of the bra uncomfortable because they dig into my skin. It fits as expected but I don't like the design.
