I bought this to go over our patio door to hang black out curtains. I order an extra long one so I could have extra strenght in the middle. it did help but it still bows in the middle some. so it could be heavier made. I do like the slim design i would buy it again for that but watch the lenght as will sag in the middle if not enough rod to support it

Best Wrap Around Single Curtain Rods

We are very happy with these Umbra single wrap-around curtain rods. They cover our windows top to bottom and side-to-side. They keep the light out. We also bought the Umbra curtain hold backs which match these rods. They are great too!

Not as expected

I have returned this item as it was not suitable for a heavy curtain back in April. It is now mid June and I have not received the refund or even an acknowledgment of receipt.

Good price, good product.

Although it arrived well packed, when I was putting it up, I realised that it was slightly kinked. I persevered (slightly damaging the wall-completely MY FAULT ) I'm pleased with the end result. Just what I wanted (minus the mark on wall). Not sellers fault,I could of sent it back. All in all, I'm pleased that I have it. Quality of the material of it is good and it looks stylish. Would recommend.

The Umbra single rod is an elegant and well designed rod for blackout curtains. It's a sleek modern design with versatile adaptation for height and width for varying window openings. It's a winner being lightweight and easily attached /detached to the wall mounts. Very suitable for the new polyester light weight curtains. The metal is thin and well finished with a centre mount mandatory. Even so, it may not be the best for use with the long, heavy old fashioned linen or cotton drapery, of old.

Super easy to install curtain rod

Bought this for my toddler’s room to use with blackout curtains. Works well to keep the light from leaking out the sides. This was super easy to install and seems pretty sturdy. Colour is more of a “yellowy” gold than brass.
