Perfect for under cabinet kitchen lighting.

I bought two of the 16" fixtures to install under the upper cabinets in my new apartments kitchen. Very easy to install, ultra thin, I can't see any of the fixture or cords when standing in from of the kitchen cabinets (cord is wire managed with adhesive anchors and zip ties) . Of course they have a power cord that you see coming down but its a white cord with a flat plug (huge plus) so if you manage the wire properly it makes for a clean installation. I didn't want to worry about batteries so I don't mind the cords. The light is, in my opinion, just the right brightness and color temp, not ultra white but not to yellow either, does exactly what I needed which was to brighten up my counter tops for cooking, etc. The only thing, and this is the case with a lot of products like this, it's all plastic and only time will tell how long the spring loaded push button power switch will last. In my case I've plugged these into two of the Amazon Smart Plugs so I just leave the switches on and tell Alexa to turn on the Kitchen. Works great. Only time will tell how long they will last but so far I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

Kinda Bright!

There's no valence on my wall cabinet so the lateral light is right in my eyes... I'll put a piece of wood or something to block that forward/lateral light. Also, the mounting hole on the switch side of the fixture is obstructed by the power cord so the screw must be just the right depth before you slide the fixture on it. And the screws that come with it are junk, so plan on going to Ace to get real screws. The cord is long so you'll need to find a hook to mount on the underside of the cabinet to gather the excess cord up and out of the way. The flat plug is functional - the unit is pretty "light" overall, verging on flimsy and I wouldn't be surprised if the switch gave out before the LED light strip dies, but it's working now so I'll hold my reservations in abeyance.

Perfect for under the cabinet

This is awesome!!! I was looking for a cheap under-cabinet light that I could turn on while making coffee that wouldn't shock my retina's before being for awake--this does the trick! Easy to install, long cord which could be seen as a good or bad thing, I think it's better to have too much cord versus not enough. I had to wind the slack a bit under the cabinet, but if you tuck it under there far enough, you don't even notice it. I highly recommend this light for use many uses, but especially for under a cabinet. Bonus tip, I added a light switch outlet plug so I don't have to actually find the button on the light to turn it on. Keep things simple for morning coffee time. :)

Excellent purchase

What I am thrilled about is the length of the cord, I was expecting the 36" (approximately) length which allows me to place it wherever I want. I will be ordering another soon enough.

Simple installation.

Over the sink, under cabinet install. Other than the square plug did not fit the round hole in the cabinet, simple installation. Works well and plenty of light for dishes and night light. :)
