Nice quality, strong tips, not a
First of all, these are nothing like the cheap harbor freight or similar tools which bend and break very easily. The metal is hardened and very strong. I used them to remove an inner circle that was very strong. I kind of figured these tools would be sacrificial but after using them to successfully remove the circle, I can say that none of the tools were damaged or bent in the least! This is impressive as I used the very points to get under the circle and pry and that circle did not want to budge so it took quite a lot of effort. Anyway, very nice tools for the money. My only complaint is that the handles are a bit narrow but the handles are soft and sturdy, it's just a matter of if you can grab it strongly enough with the small diameter handle. But on the good side, the tools are long similar to a normal screwdriver and not the short length that these tools often are, including the ubiquitous harbor freight shorties. These tools are 9.5 inches long so they are definitely not little short tools. A nice tool at a low price, I'm happy with it!

Amazon listing incorrect. This is long version
Amazon listing for CHP4 should be the 5.875” but they will send the CHP4-L long version. These are 9.75”. Has happened twice. I kept them for 2 work locations but will purchase short versions elsewhere. Handles are a tad bit thin but strong. The business ends are good quality hardened steel

Not too bad...
My only complaint is they rusted! Yes, it was very humid, but, c'mon... I hadn't used them yet!!! Sanded off the rust, coated with oil, and stored in one of my tool chests.

Good Quality Set
Such specialty tools like these are nice luxuries to add to your arsenol - for creating a little ease in those tight-quarters applications. Sure, I use to grab an awl or other sharp pointed tool to try to dig out bad O-rings, etc. when in a pinch - I just want to get the job done. But after enduring a few hard-to-get situations that caused unwanted delay in a pressure washing task I was into.... I researched/ordered these. These picks are very well made. The handles are very sturdy, comfortable, and the tool steel of the shafts is excellent. One reviewer hit the set on one negative concerning the plastic case. Although I see the point there, I find it to be very minor. I would certainly like to see all such specialty tools served up in a nice sturdy case that would last a lifetime. But it is what it is......and I think with a little care exercised, the case will hold up sufficiently for years. But that will of course depend on the individual user's habits and use. Over-all, I have used them for the O-ring retrieval mentioned and also removing some seal/washers in a faucet sprayer I replaced in my kitchen. The set is very useful, having different angle/bends on the tips and they have stiff enough construction to remove any potential fear of bending or breaking tips during normal expected uses. I recommend them over any others I have seen so far - for what that's worth! Over

Long handled and sturdy set of hooks.
I grew tired of cobbling my own set of hooks together and purchased a set of cheap, Chinese made hooks and picks from Harbor Freight. They did the job in a pinch, but the quality was lacking, and they really were short, cumbersome things to use. Wasted purchase in the end, more or less. After dealing with those I finally sprung for a better quality, made in good old USA set from Ullman. The build quality is impressive, as much as picks and hooks can be. The handles are nice and long, which so far has been a plus in trying to retrieve gaskets and little internal parts. There may be some jobs they are too long for, but nothing has come up yet. The handles have small padded sections to them, although the padding is rather hard. Not a complaint, just something to note. The assortment is nice to have and they come in a decent vinyl like pouch, although I suspect the pouch will tear with age and exposure to organics. Not a negative, again. Highly recommended.

narrowest handle. My favourute pick.
Bought these at Princess Auto (Candian Harbour Freight) over 20 years ago....they rusted and I broke the tips and lost the straight one as it became my caulking seal poker for a time...then went missing. This is the same set and I love it because they are so narrow and can extend as far as you can still hold on to it without the handle stopping you. Still lacks adequate anodizing on the aluminum handle and plating on the steel shank but I'll oil these to make them last this time. I should have bought 5 sets back then cuz I think I paid $1.49 at the time....might even have been 0.99 cents.

Wrong set received twice!
Received the CHP4L (long version) after ordering the 6-7/8" "CHP4" set TWICE. Nice picks, but I don't want/need a set over 10" long; too unwieldy for most things. This must be a mistake on Amazon's part and no reflection on the quality of the tools.

Very Strong Hook and Picks
These are excellent quality, very sharp points, very strong for prying and pulling. Overall good value for the price.

Ca vaut la peine pour le prix
Ils sont juste assez gros pour bien se prendre en main.

Very good.
I'm a diesel mechanic. So far so good. I think high carbon is the way to go.
