Fits under seat of CRJ200 - my new favorite carry on!

The Travelpro Maxlite 5 Softside Lightweight Rolling Underseat Tote Upright 2 Wheel Bag fits under the seat of a CRJ200 (small regional jet with 50 seats) - both aisle and window. It does not fit in the overhead - well it might if you can force the overhead door shut. I was able to pack 2 pairs of jeans, 4 tops, 4 pairs of underclothes, socks, 1 pair of shorts, pajamas, 3-1-1 bag with liquids, 3-1-1 bag with meds, mirror, comb, 13 inch laptop, micro mouse for laptop, laptop sleeve, power supply for laptop, bluetooth earbuds, power cords to charge phone & earbuds and cup holder sleeve that fits over the suitcase handle. It all fit without suitcase bloating and it still fit under the CRJ200 seat. In the suitcase sizer, the suitcase stuck a little bit when I tried to remove it, but the suitcase slid easily in/out from under the CRJ200 seat.

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

I have been looking for the perfect one or two day travel luggage for several years. I have used duffel bags and other small carry-on bags. This one is ABSOLUTELY perfect. The size is ideal, the weight is easily manageable, and it has the pockets that you need for these quick trips. Just perfect.

Lifesaver

I originally got this travel tote because of recent back surgery. I can’t do back packs, so I got this and I love it. The handle is long enough so I’m not kicking it as I walk. The wheels are really sturdy and roll smoothly. I haven’t experienced any wheel damage yet and I’ve rolled it across rough parking lots. I like the stoppers in front or legs. It stays put and doesn’t roll around when I’m taking stuff in and out. For the purpose I bought it, it does an outstanding job and holds my laptop, books, notebook and snacks for work.

Nice Bag!

This is a very nice bag. It was well constructed. The only problem I found was it has inline wheels rather than spinners. I ordered it by mistake, but if you are okay with the wheels, it’s a nice bag.

Fantastic underseat spinner

This is one of the best pieces of luggage I have ever purchased. It has a long handle that allows you to easily place a bag with a trolley sleeve on top of it -- I have a Vera Bradley tote that fits perfectly on top of this spinner and I use these two items as my carry-on and personal item when flying internationally. I also have space bag packing cubes that allow me to pack this spinner quite full, as there is no weight limit for underseat bags on most flights. I am able to pack three days worth of outfits plus my toiletries and an extra pair of shoes in this spinner. Again, one of the best luggage purchases I have ever made.

Simple, light and compact

If you're looking for a simple and light under-the-seat wheeled tote for a 4-5 day trip, this is it. I will caution you - it has no dedicated laptop sleeve(I use a portable sleeve when I take my laptop) and I'm a very light packer(only take what I need and always looking for ways to shrink and lighten the bag). Along with my travel shoulder bag, this is all I knew and you probably will too.

Excellent quality, smaller profile

We’ve used Travelpro luggage for years and it stands up very well. This rolling tote is smaller than the older carry-ones and will slip onto the handle of our larger pieces, making it easier to manoeuver around in train stations, airports, etc.
