I used this bit on marble tile. It cuts very easy, leaves a rough surface as expected and the marble polished up super easy with the seperate purchase of 4 inch wet diamond pads from amazon. I made a 3/8 ths inch plexiglas insert for a router table and predrilled with a smaller diameter hole and finished to exact size with my plunge router, to keep the marble dust out of my router. As easy as the process was with a router table I have to think it wouuld also be easy with a hand held router. Granite is much harder so if you are using this bit on granite I would recommend it be used on a router table.

One of those times you get what you paid for

I needed a cheap roundover bit to finish the edges on a quartz window sill, a tool I'll probably never use again. The diamond grit is very chunky, and tended to leave deep grooves on the test pieces. I managed to smooth the bit some with a file and used diamond polishing pads to give an acceptable edge detail. If I was going to be doing a bunch of edging I'd want to purchase a better quality bit.

The product worked very well rounding off granite countertops. I purchase 3 and only needed 1.

Worst Router bit ever

This router bit is the worst ever, the bearing went out after an hour in production and the screw hear stripped out trying to remove the bearing from the shank.. I wouldn't ever buy this again for my granite shop and we use about 10- 15 router shanks a month ...

Requires a 1/2 inch Colette

No problem except it requires a router with a 1/2 inch Colette. Have to return.

3/16" Radius Brazed Router Bit 1/2" shank w/ bearing

Doesn't stay in the router. Smooth shank, and no grooves to help hold it while working. I would not recommend.
