Very stiff but high quality
I’ve bought these for work in the past. There very stiff in the beginning and can rub on the back of your heal until they break in a little. Don’t be afraid to go 1/2 size bigger if you do a lot of walking. The reason there so stiff is the high quality of the leather. I’ve never worn out a pair. The only reason for buying a new pair is from damaging the appearance through my own stupidity.

Opening is far too narrow; cannot get foot in the shoe.
I like the shoe itself, and I wear a 10 in my other Timberland products, but I cannot wedge my foot in the hole without destroying my socks. Horrible design flaw. And it’s not that the shoe needs to be broken in—I cannot get it on my foot to break it in, and the hole is so small that the leather wouldn’t stretch that far anyway.

Nice work shoe for light industrial safety setting...once you get them on your feet.
These are replacing a pair of Timberland PRO Titan Oxford Lace-ups. Size stayed true between the two TP models and also to my normal casual shoe size. Shoe is lighter but not quite as cushy as the old Titans (different removable insole). This is my first experience with slip-ons and I will note that 'slip-on' is a misleading term. Getting these dudes on is a serious chore. The elastic slits expand only slightly but all is fine once my feet are wrenched in. Visually, the shoe is true to pictures except the toe cap is much more apparent on my pair. Deducting a star because I was sent a pair that had clearly experienced another pair of feet. There was definite heel wear and creases in the top of the shoes. Plus, a piece of cement was stuck in the treads. Thank you to the unknown shoe break-inner.

I work on my feet for 10 hours (and I'm flat footed, which makes it worse). I love this shoe because it's: light, comfortable, looks good and no laces! I owned a pair before which I ordered through my employer and wore them out pretty well- I wanted them again so I came to Amazon (instead of paying $140). My only complaint is that mine fits a little tight (maybe because they're still being broke in) but next time I'll get a half size bigger.

These shoes are a good quality leather so they take some time to break in. The elastic opening was very tight at first, but after a week or so they loosened up. They ran a little large, but without this you may not be able to get your foot in the opening. I wear these 11+ hours a day with no issues. I have high arches, and these shoes support me well. I recommend this.
