Great Product

This product was great for the hard ground we have in the Midwest. We were unable to get our torches into the ground. These stakes went in so easily and the tightening screw is easy to use to keep your torches secure.

Perfect! Just what I needed

Bought some solar tiki torches at Lowes… and they came with those super crappy plastic stakes that break almost the minute they’re in the ground. These metal stakes are awesome and totally worth it. Highly recommended, super easy to use- I’m very happy with these!

Flimsy compared to older version!

I bought 8 of these at least 18 years ago when we were living at another location. We left them when we moved, so i decided to order more for our new house. The old ones easily drove into the hard, rocky, clay soil. The new ones are thin and bent severely when using a 2x4 block to protect the edge while driving them into the ground. I used the same method to install the old ones. I can not recommend this item for this reason.

Got the job done

We have terribly hard red clay for soil in our yard and the standard post that was attached to our tiki was not strong enough to dig into it. These drove all the way in with a few taps from a rubber mallet. Would not recommend using a metal hammer to drive them it, you will bend and ding them.

Nice product for torches.

These are pretty good, but could maybe be a bit sturdier. It's hard to drive them straight into the ground without them sliding off center a bit or bending when driving into hard ground, so it's difficult to get a clean row of several torches. Then they seem impossible to bend or twist to adjust in place by hand, but seem to bend right over if I hit them with the mower. It is nice that the set screw is held in place with a welded nut, so no matter how much these bend or twist, I can still get them back into shape and tighten the screw. Overall a good buy and better than trying to get the flimsy torch pole into the ground. At least these I can drive in with a hammer.

Does the Job.

I purchased three of these stakes to mount classic bamboo TIKI brand torches around my patio. The soil around the patio is too dense to push in the bamboo shafts of the torches and planting them each spring used to be a major headache. However I just gently tapped these metal stakes into the ground with a rubber mallet and then had my torches screwed in place in a matter of seconds. It was a very easy task and the torches have stayed up all summer through wind, rain, and sun! One downside is that the stakes come with large stickers that are nearly impossible to remove.

Great quality

These stakes are strong and easy to use. Very durable product.
