Great smell and clean clothes

Love the smell and how our clothes feel after the wash. Bad part is if you have a larger load, there are times that the pod doesn’t dissolve all the way and ends up drying on your clothes. You can easily get it out by wetting the part of the cloth the pod is dried on and rubbing it off.

Bad scent

I always use Tide. My mom always used Tide. I will not use this scent again. VERY overpowering, and the scent made my clothes feel like they weren’t as fresh as the original scent

Only thing I use in our front loading washer

These pods make it so easy to throw your clothes in, number of pods needed for the size load you’re doing and walk away. No measuring detergents or fabric softener. Great smell too!

Great product - caused reaction

I love Tide. There is nothing comparable that gets my clothes clean. Unfortunately- and this is my fault for trying a scented product, I developed contact dermatitis (red itchy rash) so I am going back to the unscented. It did make my clothes soft and smell great but if you have sensitivities to detergent this may not be a good pick.

Work Well But Cost Is Higher Than Large Bottles of Liquid Detergent

While the Tide PODS with Downy clean clothes very well, the cost of PODS vs liquid is still very high for little additional benefit. I ran several loads using these Tide PODS with Downy and they did the job. My clothes were clean, soft, and smelled nice. I didn't notice them any cleaner than liquid detergent, however, I didn't have any stains to try these out on to see if they really removed greasy or dirty spots well. The pods dissolved fine and I didn't find any residue from the pod left in my washer. At 23 pods for $10 is 44 cents for a medium size load. That's much more than liquid detergent. It gets more economical with larger packs of PODS so the 61 count works out to 36 cents a load. Still, with large liquid detergent usually averaging between 20 cents and 25 cents a load, it's close to double the price to use PODS than regular liquid detergent. I can see how pods are more convenient to apartment/condo residents with shared laundry. They're much lighter than carrying a large jug of detergent downstairs or down the street along with your laundry. And if you're doing that you're probably already buying smaller bottles to make it less of a pain, so these pods will be even easier to carry to the laundry room or laundry mat. ::::: Pros ::::: - Very Portable - Pods are a good choice if you're using shared laundry rather than carrying a large bottle of detergent - Convenience - Effortless, just toss the pod in the washer - no measuring and no second guessing amounts - Cleaning Power - Cleans just as good or better than liquid detergent ::::: Cons ::::: - Expensive - 1.5x to 2x the cost of liquid detergent - Dangers to children - Child proof packaging is absolutely needed because these look like candies Overall, if you have your own washer, it's still better to just buy liquid detergent because you will save money. If you're sharing laundry in your building or need to go to a laundry mat, then these are super portable and probably the preferred option. Do the math and see what you're actually spending per load and make the call from there. The performance is good for whatever liquid or pods you choose.

April Fresh ! - Hard to find scent - works great

A scent I can use!! I have trouble with some scents, unfortunately there too many with lavender. The April Fresh works best for our home but has become hard to find. And to try another scent from the store but headache right away. I was so happy to find April Fresh it at Amazon! Free ship with Prime & came the next day! Great product for us.
