Awesome game
I had bought one of these years ago when I used to work at a toy store but lost it which is why I'm repurchasing. Though they were from the same manufacturer, I noticed that the numbers don't glide as easily on this version (and saw some others had the same complaint). Other than that, I really love this game and it's portable enough where you can bring it on trips or even put on your desk.

Not as good as the original...but decent
I have a Fifteen Puzzle that is well over 15 years old and it is in good shape. Before we had fidget spinners and other trendy sensory toys, this puzzle was the best thing around. The feel of the enamel around the numbers, the coolness and weight of the metal *chef's kiss* perfect. Hours of quality Stimming. The only reason I bought another one is so I can leave it in my car. This new one is decent. It is definitely made a lot cheaper. The folds in the metal aren't as neat and you will definitely want to use some WD-40 to kill the unholy squeaking that will come from the tiles sliding around as you break it in. I'm having trouble loading pictures right now or I would show you side by side the differences between this new one and my old classic 15-Puzzle. The biggest drop in value that I can see is the pouch that the puzzle comes in. The material is much thinner and the stitching is not nearly as tight. When the puzzle is in it, the pouch has to stretch, so you can feel each of the rivets poking into the vinyl. The old pouch is a snug fit as well, but the material isn't as thin, so you still feel pretty confident in it. Hey, it's held up for me all these years. No cracking or loose stitches. Bottom line, this is still a really neat toy. It's not plastic, so you don't have to worry about it breaking or the colors fading from heat, etc. I would still recommend it to anyone who wants or needs a more "intellectual" fidget device, something that isn't as mindless.

Fun If Tiles Are Not Stuck
Bought 3 of these puzzles with what looks to be numbers 0910 stamped on the bottom back and puzzle pieces. The first puzzle felt like high quality material with mostly snug tiles that moved when pushed from the top. Tile 11 and 13 had to be moved pushing its side, but overall really happy with the purchase. The red cover seemed well made. This puzzled ended up being gifted to a friend that had one of the defective puzzles as described below. Puzzles 2 and 3 also with number 0910 stamped on the back was really bad. Tiles were snug, but one of the puzzle's number 4 just would not budge out of its spot. The other puzzle's number 4 was able to move to the number 5 spot, but then wasn't moveable to the 1 or 6 spot. The puzzles just were not playable enough to keep. Returned the 2 puzzles and received 2 with the numbers 059 stamped only the bottom back of the box. Both puzzles have tiles that move very freely, but the corner and edges are not well sanded resulting in bumpy metal pieces and sharp edges that can scratch the finger if not being careful. The back tabs also have metal shavings that fall off. The red cover is darker and buttons don't snap as well as the 0910 one. These also make more noise since they move so freely. I would much prefer a working 0190 stamped puzzle since it can be played at an angle without tiles losing their place and the overall quality build. The snugness makes for slower play which is fine for a novice like me. However, the stuck tiles does make it harder for leisure play. The 059 stamped puzzle moves a lot more freely, does not have any stuck tiles, and would be good for more experienced players to move more quickly. The squeakiness and over build quality makes it seem like the tile might pop off if a little one were to pry at a good angle. I am not sure how long the button on the cover would last on this one though. I would consider buying this puzzle to gift in the future, but would definitely open and test it just to make sure none of the tiles are stuck. If there is any problem, Amazon has really good customer service and would be able to help with refunds and exchanges.

Sticky numbers
I love this game and I like that it’s durable and made of metal, although when moving the numbers around the numbers get stuck and it doesn’t glide easily. Besides that, I like the product.

I bought this for myself because I had one as a child. My 8 yr old granddaughter loved it so much that I ordered one for her, too. Very sturdy, metal. I love vintage toys.

Tiles don't always move smoothly
The size is perfect - easy to carry around and the item feels high quality until I started trying to move tiles. Sometimes they move smoothly, other times they stick. Bought one for me and one for an 8 year old in the family who finds this very frustrating They stick because each spot has a raised area for the tile and the underneath of the tiles is cut out to allow the tiles to slide over the raised areas. But the tiles have some sideways wiggle room, and if they're not lined up correctly with the raised areas, they stick (photo shows the 11 tile stuck sliding down) Don't recall this problem with the plastic ones from the 60's.

Hours of fun
There is no downside to this pocket size game. Sturdily built and metallic. Bought for my husband and he loves it. Money well spent.

Fun little thing
Fun little thing. Kids love it. Number 8 gets stuck all the time, not always smooth. The button on the little bag got detached on the first day.

Big box small puzzle
Be aware that this item is around half the size stated in the product description. On second reading I see that It does say "the box" is 13x13 but who wants to know the size of the box! Sad.

Love it!
I bought one of these 20 years ago at Restoration Hardware and gave it away recently as a gift to my granddaughter. I bought this one to replace it and it's exactly the same and has the same quality as the long ago one. Tiles slide easily making it a pleasure to play with. The only other version I've ever seen is the cheap plastic dollar store one where the tiles constantly jam.
