Keep water out of my car trunk
The bolts holding the rear lights of the car once had washers to keep rainwater out of the trunk. Those had to be replaced, so I ordered these. Only time will tell if these are doing their job of preventing water intrusion. We shall see if these work better than using silicone sealant.

Works great on a monopod/tripod mount
My newest photography monopod while being around $500 had a solid mount with no padding. Not wanting to scratch up my 400 mm lens mount I picked this up. While the diameter isn't as wide as the monopod mount it still worked perfectly and prevented any binding up or scraping of the paint. Worked perfectly for my needs. I'm sure I'll find plenty others with the equipment I have.

I'm not a Plumber, but a photographer, but these are the perfect solution for me.
I bought these to use with my photography equipment. I use them on the 1/4-20 screw on the top of my tripods to keep the camera from moving with relation to the top pad of the tripod. The rubber lets the 1/4-20 bolt be tightened enough with the flex in the washer and the surface friction between the washer and camera prevents movement.

they works for my needs
They were used to secure a 4x8 piece of lexan over a window to protect it in winter from chunks of snow and ice being thrown by a snow blower. Needed they washers between screws and lexan to prevent cracking of trhe lexan. Seems to work as I anticipated.
