shrinks about 1 inch shorter after washing and drying
The fabric is a very soft jersey, as described, and light-weight, which is perfect if you live in a very hot climate as we do. I did wash and dry one (since they came in a 2-pack) to compare shrinkage after washing, and there was about an inch difference in length after washing and drying. The one with the sticker is the unwashed shirt, and the one on the left was washed and dried once. It still fit my tall, 6 1/2- year-old child nicely, although I do prefer a bit more length, in general. In my opinion, this product would be unbeatable if it came in the same polo shirt style, but dress-length, to be worn with pants, leggings, or capri shorts.

says it's a 2 pack but only recived one shirt and cost 15.99. not good. Edit: there are two polos they were just in the same bag, didn't check before reviewing that's my fault. great buy.

Runs small
I got my daughter a Medium but it fits more like a small. I would definitely recommend going up a size. Other then that it's perfect.

Continue to shrink with every wash
Purchased in October washed many times, and I swear they're STILL shrinking! Her 6yr well visit was the first week of Sept. She's currently the same height & weight. These shirts were just below her waist in October, now they're near her belly button! We're talking INCHES. Complete garbage. What's more, I'm going to purchase more, 3 sizes up. Why? Because I had this issue with another brand, I know what to expect with these, and I'm through buying magically shrinking uniform shirts. So thanks for robbing us blind, Children's Place! Try preshrinking? Nah, they'll just set themselves up for repeat orders from trapped, desperate parents.
