For those who want a superior shave

Some kind of hemlock, this stuff. What you'll want to do is spend a few more dollars for a shaving crème brush. Get a thick applicator, douse it in warm water, then slap it on liberally. It's best done in the shower after a few minutes of steam. Use a sharp blade, take your sweet time and enjoy the harvest. After 50 years of shaving a thousand difficult ways, this was a revelation for me. Your experience may vary. But The Art of Shaving is an apt description. Worth it for the smell. Get this.

Amazing shave cream

I love this shave cream. Normally I wouldn’t spent this much for a shave cream but I tried it once and I’m hooked. It smells subtle and the shave I get is unmatched. Tried another brand of upscale shave cream and it was terrible by comparison. Yep, it’s pricey, but unmatched in quality and scent. Smoothest shave ever.

I've used this for years. It isn't cheap but if used properly, just a small amount per shave, lasts a long time before you have to replace.

My favorite shaving cream

This scent smells absolutely amazing - my favorite among the many shaving creams I've tried over the years. It's what you might expect of a OUD scent, but if you've never smelled this before, it's woody, spicy with a bit of bergamot and some other things. It's a very manly scent, if that's what you are looking for. Anyway, the lather becomes thick and rich very quickly, and lasts quite awhile. Also, I've dropped the container a few times and it hasn't cracked or shattered on my bathroom floor like certain other ones have. Seems like a well made product in every respect. I know it looks expensive at first glance, but notice the size is 5oz! That's larger than average - in fact it's about double the size of some competing products. So all in all, it's not really as expensive as it seems, and in my opinion is also the best shaving cream I've used.

Perfection

Excellent shaving cream with amazing Oud Fragrance. Very little required to create a good lather with a badger shaving brush. The razor glides with no drag. Perfection.

No smell don’t waste money

Either this isn’t an original bottle or this is and it has no Oud smell at all. I am used to wearing Oud fragrance and this has absolutely no scent..0..nada! Not even a hint of scent. Don’t wast money.

We all have to shave, why not do it in style!

The words opulent and lavish come to mind when you open the jar - the scent oozes Eastern luxury. Used this with an Edwin Jagger Super Badger to get rich, thick moisturizing lather and went to town with a Merkur Progress for a very satisfying shave. This is my new weekend favourite shaving cream. Don't let the price tag scare you - a tub lasts forever.

One of the best I've used.

Sent is nice and not too overwhelming. Don't need to use a lot to make a thick rich lather and lubricates well. One jar should last months. I highly recommend it. It lost one star for the price.

War ein Kauf aus dem Bauch heraus...... Der Geruch ist einfach nur der Hammer, schwer zu beschreiben. Hat etwas von einem Sommerregen auf heißen Asphalt. Klingt bescheuert, erinnert mich aber daran. Absolut einzigartig. Schäumt gut, hat mit meinem harten Wasser kein Problem. Pflegewirkung top.
