Good One Season Tarp
Good pool tarp if you like to buy something cheap you won't have to store all summer. In our experience it wasn't sturdy enough to salvage and reuse the following winter as it started to develop small rips by the end of the first winter. But it kept our water clean and we don't like storing a tarp over summer so it works out well for us. We like that it comes with a sturdy cable and winch that kept it down tight all winter even on windy days. Good, cheap pool tarp!

First year
This is my first year using this cover - it is thin, but hoping it does it the job and doesn’t rip with the weight of rain/snow. I ordered the 28’ pool cover for my 27’ round pool and it was just enough to fit around the top rail - size up if you have a 28’ pool.

It is perfect for one season...
I throw the cover away every spring and buy a new one every summer for the fall closing. This is the 3rd time I am buying this cover and it works great for that. It seems to hold up to a New England winter just fine for the single season and that's all I ask. Let's face it, If you are paying $60 bucks for a pool cover, is it reasonable to expect years of service ? The answer is definitely NO. Listen, I tried buying the "heavy duty" 300 dollar pool cover with a "lifetime" warranty or whatever and get maybe 2-3 years out of it. The third season it is unwound all over the place. i asked myself... WHY ? It takes forever to clean the used cover, dry it, fold it, store it.... for $60 bucks I roll all the rotted leaves and crud up and head to the dump. New one spotless and folded nicely in the box ready for the fall... So take my advice, If your paying less than say $200 for the pool cover, don't expect it to go nicely more than one season in a northern US winter and then judge it harshly if it don't.

Too Thin
The liner vas very thin and before several months ripped holes in it, where we had it tied down. Couldn’t withhold very much wind.
