Looks great!

Looks great and should work as well as the Stanley Thermos' for coffee. Terrible packaging. The bare Jar was just in a plain brown envelope. No padding of any kind. Luck it looks ok.

Make sure that the lid is level and tight - which can be a little bit difficult

Testing to see if it was leakproof showed me that that is a "definite maybe." It can be easy to get the lid on crooked. I ordered this for my son who sometimes takes soup to work for lunch. The bottle he had was taller and narrower than this one and I thought it would be nice for him to be able to eat the soup from the jar easier. The rim of the lid is relatively narrow - so tightening it and getting it on straight can be a bit tricky, though it seemed to get easier over time. My son's hands are relatively small, so I am hoping that he is able to open and close it without too much difficulty. The packaging says that it is dishwasher safe, but the bottom of the jar says "hand wash only." The inserted use and care instructions do say that it is dishwasher safe, but also caution against using commercial dishwashers or high heat (the sanitation cycle on my machine?) as well as detergents with chlorine or bromide (had to check the label on my dishwasher detergent - looks like I am in the clear for those) as all of these can reduce the thermal performance. It also cautions that the appearance might degrade faster if the dishwasher is used. We will probably limit washing it in the dishwasher to times when it seems to need extra cleaning. The gasket on the lid does come out relatively easily, so we might run that through the dishwasher frequently to prevent germs and odor accumulation.

Great for Travel!

Love that this travel cup is dishwasher-safe! It makes it so easy to clean after use. The jar feels heavy just like the Stanley cups, it gives the jar of the feeling of durability and sturdiness. It doesn't leak, so I was able to toss it in my bag and not have to worry about food getting all over my car. It's small enough to throw in a bag or bookbag and not feel too bulky.

Kept food hot for 4 hours easy

This is a nice sized mug for keeping food and drinks hot for several hours. I tested by putting spaghettios straight from the stove into it, checked it about 2.5 hours in (was still piping hot), and then again after 4 hours. The meal was definitely still hot enough to eat straight from the mug, even though I'd opened it once. The mug is sturdy and well-made. Will definitely use this lots for meals on the go!

Great for overnight oats

I have started making overnight oats to take to work. This is the best container I have used. It is light and keeps oats cold. I love that I don't have to worry about it leaking, I can throw it anywhere when I am in a hurry in the mornings.
