Be careful. They NOT Made in Canada as advertised

I have been buying Stanfield "Made in Canada" briefs and pyjamas for decades. I have never been disappointed with the quality. I chose this item specifically because it was Made in Canada. I know that many manufacturers now outsource their products to China. Some items are OK, but in general the quality (and quality control) is lower. I understand that lure of lower prices, but true value is not simply about price. I for one am happy to pay a premium if I can be confident in the quality and long term durability. For most customers, a Made in Canada or Made in USA label gives them that assurance of quality, and that in turn drives their purchase decision. Unfortunately, some manufactures use deceptive marketing tags, stating Canada, UK etc, (the country of the head office) on the product label, implying perhaps that it is made there, but failing to state the country of manufacture. Some say "designed in USA, Canada, UK etc. This is a sure sign that it was outsourced. Apart from the quality issue, we know that many countries do not have our labour standards, and I will not purchase a product unless I can be certain that was not produced by child labour or by workers who work for low wages in oppressive and unsafe work environments. And finally, as a Canadian who has seen two of our citizens imprisoned in in a box for 774 days in retaliation for us holding an Huawei executive under a legal agreement with the USA, and their terrible human rights record, I now make every effort to avoid purchasing any Made in China product.

this is an exceptionally high quality item...also great lounging with handy pocket for whatever?

Have had some of these for 4 years washed regularly and still looking new. Only would suggest that they come in tall size as large is a bit loose on my 6ft brother while just fine on my shorter husband. Have to add that there is very little clothing made today which retains its high quality over so many years as we have worn them...but continue to reorder for that fresh new smell and feeling.Thank you to Stanfield's in NS who have continued to make these..praiseworthy indeed.
