Double Trouble (In a good way!)

I am going to be up front with you all, I only wanted the Venom figure mainly. I have been a huge fan of his ever since 2007 and his appearance in Spider Man 3. I understand it wasn't the best portrayal but I was 7 what can I say! Nonetheless, I have always been a fan of Venom and his figures throughout the years have been kind of hit or miss with me. When I saw that they were doing this King in Black two pack I was beyond hype! The Venom movie body mold, with the comic accurate spider emblem plus two huge wings from the storyline! Lets go!!!! And Knull I had no real expectations for but needless to say he is still pretty awesome! He has great detail and he is huge! Both of them are big, but Knull is quite the imposing figure and has great shelf presence! But his articulation is a bit lacking due to some of his sculpting with some armor pieces spread around. I was neither impressed nor disappointed with him! I was whelmed I guess. But the Venom...... VENOM IS 100 OUT OF 10 STARS!!!!!! THE ARTICULATION IS EMMACULATE, HE HAS AMAZING DETAIL, THE WINGS ARE AMAZING, THE SCULPT, THE PAINT ALL OF IT!!!! THIS VENOM IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE FIGURES OF ALL TIME!!!! His feet are a little strange, since it is the movie mold it has the individual toes instead of a single kind of foot design. BUT THIS FIGURE STILL SLAPS LIKE CRAZY!!!!!!!!! The main thing with this two pack is the pricing, it is a lot to ask for, but if you are a huge Venom fan, I can't recommend this enough! Maybe wait for a sale or maybe sell off Knull to make up at least half the costs, because without a doubt the Venom figure is worth it!!!!!!! Maybe down the road they do a rerelease and have just the Venom, every collector needs to make sure they add this Lethal Protector to their collection!!!!!!

Good and bad but pretty pleased

Bought this set for my husband. It's a bit overpriced for two figures, but got it on a sale so made it more bearable. These figures are not 6in, but 8in. There's some nice articulation to them as far as head or torso movement, but wish it had just a few more points, like in the toes. They are lacking some depth to the paint job, just a basic solid color to them. Venoms wings were a pain in the rear to get in, and there are big! Need a good stand to help stabilize him. He has no peg holes in his feet for a stand, which neither come with. Knull has very shallow peg holes, but doesn't do too bad standing on his own. As other mentioned, Knull's sword is kind flimsy feeling but it's ok. I like that Venoms wings has another joint in it to open a bit more. Wish they used a rubber like material on both sections of his wings instead of just one. My husband was more than thrilled to have received this gift and they have now joined the battle with our MacFarlane figures.

Purchased it more for Venom than Knull - I still love it!

This Marvel Legends two pack set is fantastic! Firstly, Venom - an awesome figure with a myriad of articulation. Looks great, paint is fantastic, and can pose in a variety of ways. Issue with Venom - his feet makes it hard to pose and stand without falling. The wings especially are very heavy, so you'll most likely need a figure stand to help Venom stand (or glide) without issues.

Amazing

Big disgusting monster! Amazing venom with a good size, GORGEOUS head sculpts, and ENORMOUS wings! Knull was unexpectedly good too! Brand new body with two beautiful head sculpts, nice sword, and not bad pose ability. Definitely recommend.

This 2pack is great! But it's Hasbro, bro!

I like this 2pack, it's actually pretty nice. But there are a few things that I'm not fond of. I am upset about how expensive it was lol plain and simple. Regarding the two figures themselves, while they're both great in person; I wish somethings could have been different. For example, the Venom figure is perfect in every way with design and detail. However, I hate the feet. They should have been plain boots. This was a reused mold from the old Venom, all they had to do was change the feet into the boot look and it would have been perfect. The wings are cool but they are very hard to place in the back. Regarding Knull, while I appreciate that he's a whole new sculpt. I think he could have have used a lot more paint for the face and body. The sword is super, super cheap and flimsy. Which goes back to my point that this was an overpriced 2pack. Venom was a reused mold painted black and white which isn't expensive to paint and make but the accessories for Venom are good. Knull on the other hand didn't come with any real amount of accessories and the sword he did come with is very cheap. There is also the lack amount of paint on him too. Overall all, if you really want this 2pack...buy it but I'd wait for a sale. Getting it for 10-15 dollars cheaper would be very ideal.

Expensive but awesome figure

I remember reading Donny Cates' and Ryan Stegman's Venom comic when they first introduced Knull. I thought he looked awesome and figured he'd be a big deal. I was excited when Hasbro announced his figure. But was disappointed when I found out he'd be in a 2 pack for almost $80. Overall the Knull figure is what I would want from a marvel legends of him. He's big and imposing with lots of sculpted detail, especially on the limbs and his necro sword. The venom is cool, nice to see a comic venom off of the movie body. My one complaint is the wings. Yes they are awesome and huge and cool but for me they just won't fit into the back of the venom figure making them useless. Also the box is another thing of contention. So, fine, all of hasbro's toys will be windowless. But at least give us awesome box art. G.I.Joe and Transformers has such cool art on their boxes but Marvel and Star Wars only get bad photoshops of the toy.

Awesome, but flawed

The figures are awesome sculpts.. but the only flaws are Venom's wings not really 'pop n' clicking in' so they either fall out or sag down. May use some sort of krazy glue to keep them in place, but that is kinda permanent. The other thing that surprised me was a lack of peg holes on the bottom of Venom's feet. If you're able to get the wings into place, there's still a balance issue, and grabbed one of my neca figure stands only to be surprised by a lack of peg hole. I imagine it'd be a major pain to try to use a modern figure holder that holds the waist when you have those massive wings..

Faulty

Faulty product as this issue has occurred, same problem same on both items I ordered, highly likely a manufacturing fault, its a shame, this could be a a great pack but no more of the paper free packaging! It's pointless

Muy buen paquete deluxe pero le falto poco para ser perfecto

Por fin sale este tan esperado paquete que habiamos visto en su mayoria solamente en renders digitales. Ya abriendolo me encuentro con un venom bastante alto que comparte el cuerpo con el venom de las peliculas pero con huecos en el torax para poder colocarle las enormes alas que trae, estas vienen en dos partes cada una, un pequeño detalle es que con los nuevos empaques 0% plastico es que al venir envueltas en papel y apoyadas una sobre otra, una venia un poco rayada,nada grave. El venom viene con dos cabezas una con la boca abierta y otra con la boca cerrada, dos sets de manos, puños y manos abiertas. El Knull es igual de imponente, me alegra ver que le dieron altura, a diferencia del venom este solo trae como accesorios dos cabezas, y la espada all black que viene muy bien detallada. Ahora, me es un poco desepcionante que las alas solo se le puedan poner a venom, knull tambien se merecia el tratamiento para estas, incluso pensando que el diseño de las alas es de hecho el de el. Tambien se me hace medio desperdicio que la espada tecnicamente solo la puede empuñar Knull, pues venom no tiene hueco en la mano de puño. Mi ultima queja seria que las cabezas con la boca cerrada tienen un tratamiento de pintura muy basico en los dientes por lo de lejos se ven como una sola barra blanca. eso es todo. en general dos figuras muy buenas, tal vez una de ellas sea la version definitiva de venom en marvel legends y la otra el mejor knull que hemos visto en forma de figura hasta ahora, asi que si lo pueden conseguir y son fans de la saga King in black no lo pueden dejar pasar.
