Beautiful but ...

Pros: These mugs are beautiful and amazon had the best price! Minus: The cups hold about 2 times the amount of a 'normal' sized mug. And that can be a problem. I find that the weight then increased so much that your morning coffee/tea requires a wrist workout. Filling only half the cup requires to adjust the heating time in the microwave and on top of it the material gets hotter on the outside than the drink inside. After a week of unsuccessful trying to make adjustments I just gave up. Maybe if I would be awake while doing so it would eventually work out. For now I am going back to my old little mug. YMMV.

Pretty and nice finish

The mugs are pretty and look like they could have been purchased at an art show. We use daily and no chips. Recommend if they fit your style.

Not Actually Microwave Safe

I purchased this set in January and have loved it! Colours are vibrant. The plates, and bowls are a perfect size. My only issue is the other day, I decided to microwave bacon for breakfast and heard this loud crack during cooking. When I opened the microwave, the plate had literally splitwin half. This may be a one off thing but it's worth noting that you may not want to do what I did because you can't buy the plates individually. I hope Krazy or Gorilla Glue will work.

This set is lovely although the colours aren’t quite as vibrant as they appear in the pictures. Still very happy, quality is good and I like that the bowls are deep
