It was exactly what I was looking for. Feels solid and was easy to install. Works really well too. When I initially received the item it was missing the tightening screw. I called the manufacturer and they were super helpful and sent me the needed item right away. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Finally! A solid, beautiful, modern slip-on tub spout for not a lot of money!
This is an affordable, modern (not easy to find) straight-forward slip-on spout replacement. It is 5.75" long from wall to end of spout, it's one piece (not including internal stuff/screw), and allows your existing 1/2" pipe to be 1.75" to 4" long - yay! For me that meant no sawing or going into the wall to solder a longer pipe or a threaded pipe or whatnot, thus no plumber needed. This replaced an almost-new boring American Standard tub spout which had all the water spraying outward in an ugly haphazard way. Water from this spout is the width of the spout. I don't know why the specs say you need a minimum 4" between the center of the spout hole and tub top. Mine isn't and I don't see why it's an issue. The inside of the spout has a thin o-ring for a snug fit - I'd recommend silicone grease to get it on easily. You need a short Phillips head screwdriver or in my case, I found it easiest to use the 1 cm-long insert from one of my swappable screwdrivers. The polished nickel looks gorgeous but I imagine it would be hard to get a color match. I went with reliable chrome. Pretty and matches my Moen Align trim quite nicely.

Gorgeous but needed plumbing work
Maybe it was just our setup, but it was not super straightforward to replace an older Delta tub spout with this one. Had to get a plumber in. But it does work & look great now!

Beautiful simple spout which replaces the builders grade plastic spout that was on the tub originally. Easy to install.

Quality made Easy install
Very happy we decided to spend a little more on this spout, the style is modern and clean. We had no idea how easy it would be to install! You can see by the pictures it fits right onto a standard 1/2" copper pipe. Just as the description says it can easily fit over a 4" long pipe coming out from the wall or tub. Note: By my measurements it would actually allow for a little more like close to 4 1/2" if needed without cutting the pipe. Quality insert sleeve inside the outer shell, made of brass and metal, NO PLASTIC HERE. With a rubber O-Ring that ensures no flow back to the back wall:) The weight of this spout shows the high quality steel used and the finish is polished to a shine that matches our existing chrome faucet and accessories. Install is simply use a little vaseline or clear grease to brush a little on the O-Ring to allow smooth slip on of the spout to the existing pipe. Then use a Philips or "Star" screwdriver to tighten the set screw from the bottom onto the copper pipe. Screw head is quality made and a firm tighten turn was allowed with out stripping the screw head! Thank you, thank you. Excellent quality as opposed to 99% of stock at big box stores. Diverter works much better for shower than all others I tested.
