Not for everyone

I've been using the Sisley Buffing Cream since I was turned onto "buffing" my skin as a form of exfoliation, instead of using the granular scrubs. But buffing is not for everyone. Basically, you layer on this chalky-feeling stuff (with granules) on your skin, wait for it to dry, then rub the stuff off. In rubbing, you supposedly take off layers of dead skin cells, dirt, and what not. For me, with combination to drier skin, this thing has been very useful. IN the winter, when I may get to be too dry to the point of flakiness in some areas, it helps to cleanse the skin, layer this stuff on, then buff off the dead skin cells. The Clairsonic doesn't do it - it may actually cause more dryness. The only drawback of rubbing the skin is that not everyone likes to RUB their skin in this way. We *should* treat our skin with kid gloves, as I understand it. But I always have a little thing of this around for those times when skin is in dire need of exfoliation and nothing else will do.
