Doll clothes pattern

Nice pattern. The pattern paper is not as thick as it used to be which is disappointing. Simplicity marks their pattern pieces well so I am happy with it.

Versatile outfits, but not so simple

Not as simple as I'd like for my 10 year old, but cute outfits that can really be changed up with the fabric choices.

18" doll pattern Simplicity 1484

This has been the best pattern I have bought for the dolls. I have others but enjoyed this one the most. Have a lot of floral material and this is perfect for the dolls. I can add lace, rick rack . I can also do solid tops and printed skirts and vice versa. Loved it.

Some Sewing Skill Required!

I've used this pattern for three items: the sleeveless dress with skirt/overskirt combo (used twice - excellent - fits AG doll well) and the little top with ruffled trim at neckline (cute but too snug for AG doll - should be made in a knit fabric not woven). On the whole I like this pattern and will be using it again and again - but the lesson is always check dimensions of pattern compared to doll!

One of the favorite doll patterns

Many doll clothes sewers love this pattern! Good reason - lots of cute styles and it is easy to read the instructions and cut the patterns out. Love the little wrap dress and the drop waist one. So cute and what a versatile patterns!!
