115hp Evinrude
I purchased item for an 1977 Crestliner that has a 155hp evinrude motor on it. I was very unsure how this product would hold to the weight of the motor bouncing while driving donw some of these roads in Colorado. To my supprise it holds up pretty well. I drove to a lake out here that was almost a 2 hour drive one way and it had held up very well. i gave it a 4 star because there were some slight flaws that have not been a major issue but a concern for safety if this product were to fail. One issues is the bungee cord that helps secure it to your bottome roller fells a little sloppy. The other issue is the bungee cord that goes around the motor that it came with pretty much sawed in half so the best solution for right now is have some spare bungee cords in your boad or vehicle incase this happens while on the road.

Love it
I spent nearly $100 on my last support and this one has almost all the same features as that for less than $40.00! Doesn't have the spring inside the shaft to help attenuate rough roads and bouncing but great product.

Nice product
This support holds the motor secure and prevents it from turning while you are driving. The bungy cord that comes with it though is not long enough to use to secure the support to the trailer.

Supports 9.9 hp- 300 hp outboard
I saw a comment saying that this shouldn't be used for bigger motors. This product is nice and very strong. I put it on my 150 hp outboard. It will support any large outboard motor and all the way down to a small motor. Definitely a good product for the price!

don't let your motor just hang it will rip the back supports
All is good put it on the boat and strapped in down ready for boat hauling and not worried about the motor busting off

Smallest Size Fits 30 HP & Under
Bought smallest size. Adjusted clamp as wide as possible and just fits my 30 HP Suzuki Four Stroke lower end. Appears sturdy and well made.

Will not buy again
I would not buy again. There is not much good to say about the product. The clamps that hold the motor are to narrow (1") to fit most motor shafts and they can not be flipped or modified by design. I tried to use this on my 20hp Merc but it wouldn't fit around the shaft given the limited angle of the support bar by design. Basically the lower area near the prop. which you cant swing too with the solid base mount. The biggest issue is the solid base mount, it's a square peg that holds the support bar at one angle only. (Pictured is the optional roller mount which I don't have the option to use.) The peg doesn't allow the relationship between the trailer and the motor much flexibility in angle of placement. I filed it slightly to get enough play in the angle to work with my motor/trailer relationship. It barely works.

Doesn't fit well on 20HP Tohatsu
This does not fit well on my 20HP Tohatsu. I flipped the clamps around, which at least allows it to partially fit around the lower unit. As some of the other reviewers have pointed out, the shaft is made out of aluminum. Hopefully this is still sturdy enough for my smaller motor. Overall I'm not feeling very confident about this purchase. We'll see how things go when I actually try driving.
