bought as spare....

but decided not to chance old one failing on me. existing unit no longer made. wanted all in one design. seems to work fine. tested 'snap' into base on the bench and it was fine. "SNAP" once installed is not nearly as secure as I'd like it so added a cable tie and will keep an eye on it for a bit. Flow output seems the same as the one it replaced. Used in RIB dinghy where cockpit water drains to bilge and needs to get pumped out regularly. Hope is works fine for a while!

Not as powerful but it works properly

I replaced a 750 gallon per hour bilge pump that was less than 2 years old. This 600 gallon per hour doesn't pump as fast or as powerful. It should be only 25% slower than the old one but it seems more like 50%. That being said, I replaced the old one because it drained the battery since it wouldn't shut off. This one works very well in both automatic and manual mode. I now feel confident to leave my boat in the water rather than on the boat lift overnight. Because I was replacing an existing pump, the installation only took about 15 minutes.

First one didn't work long BUT

First one didn't work long about 2/3 weeks so I bought a different one ,that one was truly crappy. I then realized before installing the second different pump I had a power issue. Sent that one back and reordered this one with stability in my power supply this one has been working great. We shall see how long it lasts. We have a 24' boat and had down pours the last few days and it kept up just fine. It's a good little pump

Works well so far and fits in small places but could be could use heavier plastic.

DO NOT BUY

First of all I’ve had 4 of these pumps 3 in the last season (2022) and 1 so far this year (2023) they all failed som I know it’s not my wiring I’ve been through the whole boat

Good value

This fit perfectly in my 11ft RIB dinghy. I needed a small Bilge pump that would fit in the lower part of the hull with it a built-in float switch but still can access the hull drain and this fits the bill perfectly

Only bilge pump I buy since I have installed 2 in one of my boats 3 years ago and they are still going strong. Bought this one for three other boat.
