Always locked from the outside

This is what I needed for one door that never needs to stay unlocked. Storeroom or Vestibule door knobs usually don't have a way to leave the door unlocked. It's a keyed lock and remains locked. The key is needed to open the door. Perfect. The quality is solid, installed easily too. The base, as shown in the photo, has a crimp mark.

Good lock, like the Auto Lock feature

Good lock, like the Auto Lock feature. The only thing I don't like is the knob that is keyed. The ring that goes flush with the door, just snaps on. Usually the screws from the other side, screw right into that piece. So it can pop off and it will expose the back of the 2 screws from the inside end. This means you can tamper with it and I don't see how it can be rated Grade 2 for this reason. Usually happy with Schlage............
