Sawyer - Just include this in the water filter purchase

Works great to gravity feed filter water with the sawyer filter. Not sure why they just don't include this with the filter purchase. Can be used instead of the syringe to backwash the filter. Used backpacking and worked flawlessly.

Now I don't have to carry the plunger around with me to clean my sawyer. Also works great for a gravity system if you leave it a a little loose for air to escape. This peice and a sawyer squeeze paired with some smart water bottles makes a great water filter kit.

I was able to set up a gravity filter for my Sawer squeeze with CN0C baga! Very helpful little piece. I wish the part came with the filter when I bought it!

Simple yet effective

I have been using these for a few years for my Sawyer system to connect to my Conc bags, and it is absolutely flawless! Great little tiny piece of plastic.

Must have for Katadyn filters too

It fits standard bottles. And standard bottle caps fit Katadyn gravity/squeeze filters. So I'm using it for backflushing Katadyn, now it works as brand new.

Great Adapter

It allows you to backflush your Sawyer Squeeze without the syringe. It also can be used to set up a gravity system, great bit of gear.

Off spec use

I know it's supposed to be the cleaning attachment but it makes connecting a Smart Water bottle so much easier than the original connectors supplied with the Sawyer Squeeze.

Very useful gadget. But twenty quid! Really? That's more than half the price of the filter I use it with.

Overpriced and often out of stock but I have a work around

It's a great little filter and works well but this connector it is grossly over priced and often out of stock. As a work around, take a look at Tornado in a bottle adapters on here. I found those worked just as well, at a fraction of the price. Take a look at CNOC bags on here as well for a more durable squeeze bag to use with this.

Go Hands Free! A Must-Have for the Backcountry

Reviews are relative to each individual's experiences. I'm not an expert, but I do have a lot of backcountry hiking experience, and this product is a must have for an easy, hands free water filtration system in the backcountry. My system is like this: CNOC 2L bag for lake water Sawyer Squeeze Sawyer Coupling Smart Water Bottle (or any 28mm bottle) Attach everything in that order, hang your water bag on a try and let gravity do the rest. This hands free setup lets me do other things like setup my tent or eat while my water is filtering. I forget this at home one time and I was so annoyed having to hold the water bag while trying to line it up to the water. I'll never leave home without it again!

Muy útil pero un robo

Es un elemento casi imprescindible que debería venir junto con el filtro, de serie. Como el resto de accesorios que trae. Es una rosca de plástico, sin más que en una ferretería te costaría céntimos. Si quieres/tienes que apagarlo como yo, adelante.
