Performs as expected. Despite some weird reviews
Been wearing Sense ride 3's for the past couple years... As the terrain I walk/run varies from beach to rocks to pavement to slippery surfaces in Hawaii, I needed a trailrunner that could holdup, not be to hot, and look good. The Sense rides fit the bill perfectly..Their tread pattern is not as agressive as the cross-trail models which for me is fine as I walk mostly on country roads. But when you want to go off road this shoe is perfect. When I saw they Salomon updated the model to Sense ride 4, I thought great, until I read some of the reviews..However since peoples experience was overwhelmingly positive I decided to go for it. Glad I did. They fit, perform and feel the same. They give me a "gel like" support/cushion across the "ball" of my foot which is precisely where I need it. So if you that sensitivity these shoes will work great for you. Only drawback is getting them in the color/size you want...Some of the color combinations are ????

Perfect Fit
The shoe looks well built with an aggressive yet tame tread. The fit is incredibly comfy. Lace hide is a bit cumbersome but holds well. I mail order most of my shoes and it usually takes me two or three returns before I get the right pair. This time Solomon nailed it on the first try.

The shoes are a tad heavy they do work well for running and hiking it's what i bought em for. They could have removed the tacky orange and out in midnight blue or blue in general the shoe would look more stunning and cooler Otherwise $180 shoes only buy if you really need waterproof running shoes they do the job perfectly your socks do remain dry

Never got comfortable and always hurt my feet by the end of the day.
Not at all comfortable. I tried to break these in, and probably walked (fast pace) 50 miles, but my feet always hurt at the end of the day. I thought the brand was enough in itself.

J'ai porté des chaussures de la marque SALOMON depuis des années, malheureusement les derniers modèles que j ai achetés étaient trop étroits.
