Great to block off a hallway

We have 2 small chewennie's and the older of the two has gone blind. Blocking off this area of the hall helps him guide his way. He uses his nose for quite a few things when moving forward and this being soft if perfect. It was easy to assemble and put up. Easy to take down and washes well.

Nice design

I would have given this a 5 but the two fixed ends snapped off at the Rivet. Great design Though on the unit itself! The rivet is to short and did not hold on to the bar- A small screw or better rivet would have worked- To make it extend a bit more I bought some gate pressure screw extenders. Since the pressure ends are fixed- I unscrewed , drilled out the holes and the extenders fit nicely in the center of the tubes-

Did it’s original job

Purchased for a specific purpose: I originally purchased this to set in front of a window /on a windowsill/ near the front door to keep my dog from trying to break the window to get at my neighbor (neither one of us liked that neighbor :) It worked well and wedged in there very tight and sturdy. I’ve since moved to a different house and do still use this gate occasionally. It’s bulky though and whenever I move it from one place to another the rods pop out so, it’s annoying. If you intend to purchase it and keep it in one place it’s fine. It’s not really so much portable or easily movable.

Easy to install, doesn't mess up walls

Love this gate. Easy to install and take down, even though I typically just leave it up. It's machine washable so it's easy to clean. The best part is, it doesn't mess up my walls like every other gate I've used for my dogs over the years. I would definitely recommend this gate for wide spaces like I have.

Inconvenient if needs to be moved a lot

This gate is great for the fact of its size for larger door frames, and its price. However, putting it together...you have to push a rod thru the top and bottom parts of it, and they have rubber ends on them, and CLOTH on the inside of the areas you have to push them thru, making it veryyyy difficult to do so!! They dont just SLIDE THRU, they get hung up. At one pt i was thinking it haddd to be sewn shuttt midway thru it. Would have made more sense to have put a nylon inside those areas, to make that part easier. It works great once together. Different system than ive ever seen, you have to twist ends of the top and bottom bars, to make it longer or shorter, to hold itself in the doorway. Kind of awkward, in my opinion. But once up, its sturdy. Prob is.... each time you have to move it, you have to repeat the twisting process, and lining it up in the doorway. And when you MOVE the gate, like to the side, out of the way, its very wobbly. Its a cloth/mesh interior, which makes the blocked off area, which is nice, that a small animal can't get thru it, like it possibly could with a foldable wooden gate. It's pretty tall also, which makes it difficult to just step over. So, my suggestion, if you are going to constantly be needing to open or close the gated area, i would go with something that actually opens and closes, for more convenience. Pleased with the gate itself, and i purchased it becuz of its price also....just not as convenient for me, but that's what i get for trying to save a few dollars at the time. ????

Perfect gate for wide doorways

The media could not be loaded. We got this gate for a new puppy and I imagine he's a bit stronger than a baby so I was nervous about this gate fitting our needs. I work from home and needed a separate space in our apartment where I could get stuff done and also not have to worry about leaving cords around that the puppy could chew on. The study in our apartment has a large open doorway, and this was one of the only gates that was wide enough to fit in the large doorway. It's held up very well through the energetic puppy phase. By now, he's a little bigger and has been able to knock it down a couple of times on accident, but the noise scares him enough where he doesn't try to do it again. If you're getting this for an extremely small puppy, he might be able to slip between the bars on the sides or underneath the gate. The openings on the sides are 4 inches and the opening at the bottom is about 5 inches. I saw some reviews on here that people struggled putting this baby gate together, but I had some unfounded idea that I was going to be smarter than them and it would be much easier for me. Nope, not the case at all. The ends of the poles have rubber on them, and the inside padding of the slip for the baby gate is some sort of fluff that sticks to these rubber ends and does not let go causing the pole to get stuck the entire way through the openings. TIP: Put a thin rag or a t-shirt over the end of the pole and secure it with a hair tie or rubber band or something, then slide it through the opening and you'll save yourself a lot of time and energy. In terms of function, definitely 5 stars. As you can see by the video, my dog jumps on this thing and it still holds up. The difficulty of putting it together was insanely frustrating and unnecessary, and it seems like such a cheap fix to add another layer of fabric inside the slip that I'm giving this 4 stars.

un producto muy util

muy util, hay pocas barreras para bebes que cubran huecos tan grandes, solo estaria perfecta si tuviera una manera de soltarse mas rapido, tienes que girar para ponerla y girar para quitarla lo cual es algo lento pero seguro.
