Excellent tech support and customer service
The Sainlogic Professional Weather Station is a powerful, flexible instrument for telling you just about everything you could want to know about local weather conditions. The readout is bright and easy to read. The outside station is solid, but light and compact. I found the instructions a little hard to follow, and the connection between the display a bit finicky. In every instance, though, when I had a question or a problem, the support team at Sainlogic answered my email almost immediately. They even offered to replace the sensors if their recommended fix didn't work, which it did. Bottom line is that I'm very satisfied, and would recommend Sainlogic to anyone looking for a good value,

Well constructed, good value, but connecting to a WiFi mesh network requires technical proficiency
Having set up and tested this unit for 6 days before mounting it on the roof, I can say this weather station is a good value, well constructed, and works as advertised. As a standalone system it works as advertised out of the box. Connecting to WiFi may be challenging as noted by some reviewers who wrote that they could not connect. Initially, I could also not connect the weather station to my Synology mesh network, consisting of three interconnected routers. (A mesh network provides WiFi coverage over a wide area. A device connected via one SSID can remain connected anywhere over the mesh coverage area.) I have discovered that the weather station, like other Internet of Things (IOT) devices, conform to the 802.11 b/g/n wireless standard but the newer multiband and mesh routers implement data transmission protocols beyond that basic standard. So, when I first tried to connect to the mesh network at 2.4 GHz, the weather station could not connect to the network's SSID because it offers three access points, one for each router, that recognize the same SSID but have different BSSIDs. The 802.11 standard is based on a single access point - single SSID and BSSID. So, my remedy is to configure a range extender that I had as an access point with a SSID distinct from that of the mesh network and then connect that access point via ethernet cable to the wired portion of my network (see photo). This approach works for connecting to my Synology mesh network. It has also worked with connecting my HP printer with the same issue. Hopefully, this experience will help others successfully connect. Router wireless standards are always evolving, so some technical proficiency is helpful to connect this weather station to a WiFi mesh network.

Nice product good value
The Sainlogic professional weather station is really cool. The large bright display is great to look at, and full of easy to understand information. With the abity to have extra temperature and humidity sensors. I have a complete idea of what it is like at my hot tub, patio, and back yard (only one extra sensor came with the unit. Others were purchased separately.). The only issue I have is unless you can mount the bracket on a flat surface you will need an additional mounting pole. The pole that is included with the unit is a rectangle and there is no way to rotate the station to the correct orientation with just the included hardware. Overall I reccomend this unit as it is feature packed and reasonably priced.

Having real problems with this unit hooking to Wifi
This unit refuses to hook up to the house WiFi, thus there is no cell phone tracking of the weather. However, all functions track nicely with NOAA/FAA weather. The unit seems to display correctly. I use the weather station to predict local aviation weather in my local area and predict weather conditions at my local airport. It's great to predict flying conditions locally, especially on landings. I'm very happy with the unit except the WiFi function.

Works as Advertised, Great Unit and good Customer Service
I researched hundreds of Home Weather Stations and found little consistency in reviews. I took a chance and so far I have been pleasantly surprised. The Sainlogic unit has performed well and continues to do so. Instruction pamphlet is a bit daunting, but filled with tons of settings, some of which I'll never use. I am pleased with the weather station and hope to continue to be. You can't go wrong with this unit.

Great Product, but Installation Stalled
Easy to install as long as you follow the instructions. The installation app would not pick up my IP address and I got stuck. So Clicked on the tech support button who directed me to an installation video. By using the web based installation I was able to complete it. But I can see why some people get frustrated and give up. Once installed it works great. I also purchased the extended warranty on it, which I hopefully will not need to use.

Awesome product and tech support was nothing short of stellar!
I've had other weather stations and never been successful navigating net link to my weather station. I had the same issue setting up this station but was able to work with tech support and they had me up and running very quickly. Very fast responses with attached links and videos specific to my issues. And they registered my station for me too! Sainlogic was a very good choice for me. Hat's off to the Sainlogic team!

Well Organized Display
I connected this weather station to my T-Mobile dual band home internet router via my Samsung phone. There were no issues with the instructions or the connectivity, but I would suggest if you are setting one of these systems up, to go slowly with the process in order to let the programming do its job in the background. I like the display and the way it is organized, as well as the access available via Weather Underground. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is to add a lightning detector to the package.

Viele Werte
Eines gleich vorweg: Ich besitze diese Wetterstation bereits seit 2,5 Jahren und war immer sehr zufrieden damit. Folgende Messwerte werden angezeigt: + Temperaturen (von mehreren Sensoren) + Luftfeuchte (ebenfalls von mehreren Sensoren) + Taupunkt + Windgeschwindigkeit inkl. Wind-Chill und Böengeschwindigkeit + Windrichtung + Niederschlagsmenge + Luftdruck + Datum + Uhrzeit + UV-Index + Sonnenstrahlung in W/qm + Wettertendenz Richtig interessant wird die Nutzung erst, wenn man die Wetterstation mit einem Online-Dienst nutzt und die Daten von überall her abfragen kann. Die Einrichtung ist schnell erledigt und wenn die Wetterstation mal online ist, muss man sich um nichts mehr kümmern. Blöderweise wurde die Außeneinheit nach 2,5 Jahren defekt (natürlich keine Garantie mehr). Ich habe mich an Sainlogic gewandt und einen Rabatt bei der Bestellung des Ersatzteils erhalten.

Pas de notice en Français
Suite contact avec Cristina (Amazon) par tchat, ce produit qui n'a pas de notice en Français devait être retiré de la vente. 24h00 ont passé et ce n'est pas le cas. Pour rappel, la vente en France oblige la fourniture d'une notice en Français. C'est une obligation légal.

Estació fantàstica. Connexió wifi complicada ....
La aplicació que indica el manual que et descarreguis, no suporta el propi model, si no només un de més senzill de la pròpia marca, encara que un cop configurat a la web Wunderground i creat el dispositiu, després ja el troba immediatament. l'estació meteorològica, un 10 com a tal. Porta tot el que esperes i un un petit pal (màstil), que facilita subjectar-lo a la barana de la terrassa, paret, etc..

Teures Vergnügen für ein paar Tage
Die alte Wetterstation war mir nach 12 Jahren nun zu ungenau und ich habe viel im Netz verglichen und bin dann auf die Wetterstationen von Sainlogic gekommen, da sie vielfach als Test- oder Vergleichssieger auf diversen Vergleichsportalen hervorgehen. Die Wetterstation besteht aus einer Basisstation, einem Thermo-/Hygrometer, einem Regenmesser der die aktuelle Niederschlagsmenge aufzeichnet sowie einem Windmesser der über die Windrichtung und die Windgeschwindigkeit informiert. Einen richtigen Pluspunkt bietet der Windmesser, welcher eine eingebaute Solarzelle enthält. Das schont nicht nur die Akkus sondern natürlich auch die Umwelt. Da der Windmesser meist etwas höher angebracht wird (so wie es ideal ist und auch empfohlen wird vom Hersteller), entfällt so der Aufwand beim Batteriewechsel um an das Gerät zu gelangen. Ausserdem liegt eine Gebrauchsanleitung in Deutsch und eine in Englisch bei und die entgegen meiner Befürchtung in vernünftiger Schriftgrösse. Man benötigt einige AAA Batterien die nicht beiliegen - was bei dem Preis eigentlich schön wäre!¬ Schon vor Tagen habe ich die Weather-UndergroundApp dazu runtergeladen und mich damit ein wenig vertraut gemacht: Das Display der Wetterstation ist einfach toll, sehr gut unterteilt damit es übersichtlich bei den vielen gelieferten Werten bleibt, die Schrift angemessen gross und einfach ablesbar, dies war mir extrem wichtig. Die Wetterstation misst die Windrichtung- und geschwindigkeit, den Niederschlag, Luftdruck sowie die Luftfeuchtigkeit und die Aussentemperatur, Sonneneinstrahlung und UV-Strahlung. Ausserdem gibt es eine Wettervorhersage und auch die Mondphasen werden angezeigt, was aber heute ja schon normal ist. Zum Glück war durch die alte Station der Mast noch vorhanden, so dass wir die Messstation dort auch wieder anbringen konnten. Sie sollte schon nach Möglichkeit nicht zu nahe an der nächsten Wand stehen, was bei uns problemlos möglich ist zum Glück. Der Schwiegersohn hat die Einrichtung mit der App/Verbindung mit dem Wlan übernommen, da er in der IT Branche arbeitet, war das für ihn kein Problem und nach 15 Minuten lief dann auch alles. Die gelieferten Daten scheinen plausibel, werde das natürlich beobachten und freue mich, dass ich mich meinem Hobby, dem Wetter etwas professioneller widmen kann! ********** Nachdem ich mich ständig in der App neu einloggen musste - was gerade noch hinnehmbar war - zeigt das Display plötzlich wirre Werte an und springt dann wieder auf normale Werte und dann wieder unsinniges. Reset und Batterien erneuern hat nix gebracht. Kurzes Vergnügen für einen hohen Preis, wird wieder abgebaut und zurück geschickt - schade um die ganze Arbeit.

Non vale i soldi spesi
Ho acquistato questa stazione meteo, che si colloca nella fascia medio-alta di prezzo, convinto dalle tante recensioni positive lette. Devo dire che mi ha alquanto deluso. L'installazione è semplice se non si vuole sfruttare il collegamento wifi a Weather Underground. Se invece si vuole farlo, e del resto, questa possibilità si è pagata, si entra in "una valle di lacrime". Una volta collegata alla rete Internet di casa, seguendo il manuale (in inglese), in modo alquanto macchinoso si collega. la stazione alla rete di Weather Underground. Fatto ciò la stazione è operativa in rete. Il problema, nel mio caso, è che tutto ciò ha funzionato per un paio di ore, dopo di che si è scollegata dalla rete di Weather Underground e non c'è stato più verso per farla collegare. Oltre a ciò altre cose che non mi sono piaciute sono: 1) Non c'è un diagramma della variazione della pressione atmosferica che sarebbe utilissimo per prevedere la variazione del meteo, cosa presente anche in stazioni molto più economiche. 2) L'icona che indica la previsione meteo, una volta regolata sulla condizione meteo al momento della installazione, nel tempo di tre giorni, non è mai cambiata, indicando sempre tempo parzialmente nuvoloso, pur essendo il tempo variato da completamente nuvoloso a sereno ed essendoci ora un bel sole splendente, e ciò aggrava la mancanza di cui al punto 1 Sono sostanzialmente deluso, e, fortemente tentato dal restituire il prodotto
