Good simple costume - probably best option for toddlers who can be fussy about their clothes...
If you have a picky kid about clothing who loves Thomas - this costume is probably the absolute best thing you will find. It's incredibly simple - a vest & a hat...and it has Thomas. Honestly - we don't plan to use this costume this year....my son wants to be a pirate this year - he's almost 3 & I think he understand the concept of halloween (we'll find out in a few weeks). So I got him a pirate costume...but I also know my son can be crazy picky about his clothes - dressing him can be a one heck of a battle most days. He is incredibly stubborn & I can imagine him pitching a fit about getting the pirate costume on & refusing to accept that in order to be a pirate he actually has to put the costume on (he's already approved the costume I picked out - but if you're buying this, you already know how kids can be...that approval might mean nothing in a few weeks!). So I'll be holding onto this until after halloween. Hopefully we can return it then - but this way we have a backup for when he fusses too much about getting into the much more elaborate pirate outfit.

Cute but cheaply made.
Our son lovesss Thomas The Train. And this was the best for our picky two year old. It’s Cute & served its purpose but the quality of the pieces weren’t that great. Had loose strings/ Fringes by the Velcro pieces. The hat was big, just as another reviewer said too. We didn’t use the bandana. We did love how the vest part of the costume just slid right over my sons outfit.

Great for the cost
Great little costume for a toddler. It was easy to dress my lil one in whatever the weather required and just place the piece over it. For what I paid it did the job. It does un velcro at the side easily if to much activity is going on, such as picking the child up and down repeatedly. The hat was also very large for my son and sewn very poorly but it still did the job and his smile was worth getting the costume. I'm glad I bought it and as long as you don't have high hopes for a quality piece that will fit perfect with out any problems then you'll be happy also. All pieces are still together and lasted through 5 halloween events and rain on the night of halloween. Now he uses it for dress up still.

I’m going to say 50/50
It’s doesn’t too much comfortable. Most of the time it’s feel off . My son like Thomas character that’s why I buy this. But I’m not going to say it’s waste of money or something. I’m just sharing my experience. Thank you

Comfortable affordable and Adorable
My two year old son was thrilled when this came. He immediately put it on and choo chooed around giving everyone rides ( conga line style) I love it because he really could wear whatever he wanted under with ease... add that top and boom he's Thomas! Good buy! Arrived fast!

This costume was easy, comfortable and my 18mo LOVED it
This costume was easy, comfortable and my 18mo LOVED it. There was no mistaking who he was supposed to be. The top is a kind of foamy fabric that stays stiff so you can see thomas even with wiggling, but soft enough that it doesn't cause any discomfort. There is a hole in the back which made it perfect for us to put on his backpack underneath and the cord came out the hole. He was able to run around but still be connected to me by his cord. Definitely recommend this.

I was confused over has this cheesy little costume could get such rave reviews. I mean it's a smock & a hat but when my 3 year old put it on, I was totally impressed. Yes, it's a smock & a hat (also a handkerchief) but it's adorable. It's perfect for the little Thomas lover who doesn't want wear a costume. Looks just like the picture.

Very Easy for a Toddler to wear
My son loved his halloween costume - He is a Thomas the train fanatic. The costume looks exactly as shown, but we had to readjust the velcro on the sides because it was put on backwards. Also, the hat was way to big on him and he has a large head. Besides that we were very happy with this item as our son still wears it around the house sometimes when he is playing with his trains. Money well spent and it didn't cost nearly as much as some of the other costumes out there.
