Great if I would get one not damaged!!
I bought this for my 4yo grandson the first time in February, it came and I was pleased and grandson excited to try it on. After checking product upon arrival I noticed the belt had a defect at the seam, and threads were lose and not sewn properly, no way I'm paying full price for a product with a defect. So no big deal, I returned, requesting a replacement. Got the replacement quickly. Upon checking this one, the belt on it was great but then noticed the top had a 1/2 RIP or what really looked like someone cut it with scissors!!??!! See pictures! D iui didn't even try on! And it was at the back so no way to hide it! I was so disappointed, and my grandson disappointed. So, request another one. Here we are mid March , and they haven't sent a replacement and haven't issued refund, all I want is a costume that IS NOT DEFECTIVE! I will be calling to hopefully get resolved and update later. Very frustrated.

Looks legit, son loved it.
As far as looks go, this costume gets the job done. My son was super stoked to wear it. The cost-to-quality ratio leaves quite a bit to be desired though, the fabric is thin and the shoe/boot covers had some creases in the material that wouldn't come out. The size was also smaller than expected even going off of the size chart and current measurements. The velcro in the back barely held the two pieces of material together. If you're ok with the price for a single use, or maybe a few before you run into rips and tears then feel confident in purchasing it, as it does look good, photographs well, and will make your son or daughter happy.

A great Jedi costume, held up well, and sizing is forgiving
This was so perfect for our trip to Disney World. There are so many princess costumes for my daughter, so this was a perfect compliment for my 4yr old son, he wanted to wear it everyday. He also participated in the Jedi Training at Hollywood Studios and all of the cast members kept commenting how he "looked like a real Jedi" (they provided a hooded Jedi robeStar Wars Child's Hooded Jedi Robe, Small to go along). He is petite (39 inches height) so the small was a little big, but the costume is forgiving and actually looks more authentic with the robes hanging over the belt at the waist and pants hanging out at the boot covers. It held up through two days of rough Disney play and hope to get many more out of it!

Cute costume for your little Jedi
My son loved his Halloween costume! He's 3 and wears a 3T. That size was not an option when I purchased this so I went with the smallest available at the time. It was slightly big but I was able to pin it and it worked out fine. My son felt like a true Jedi with his light saber (we had our own) and enjoyed showing off his costume.

Great for sensory sensitive kids
This is a great costume for kids with sensory issues as there is no mask, hat, or makeup involved. The material is fairly thin as all Halloween costumes are so no surprise there. We had our kids wear a shirt and leggings under it since it was cold that day. The only issue is the color was darker than what was pictures (it looked like burlap instead of linen) but other than that it was great.

Pleasantly Surprised
I've learned that generally Halloween costumes appear to be costume quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the look and quality of this costume. It was simple but fit well and looked very cute on. It's all fabric and there are no areas that are stretch (aside from the waist) and the costume looked finished. (so many look cute in the front, but the back appears forgotten about) We ordered the small for my 6 year old (47 inches and 43lbs) The fit was just right.

Great costume, not sure what people expect out of a kids costume. My boy wore it a few times and played in it with zero material issues. Still Looks fantastic.

I'm happy, but please note the size is huge!
UPDATE - my son wore this to a comic con event, everyone commented how great he looked! I mentioned before that I didn't have issues with the finish of the product, but after one wear it has to be said I need to do repairs! Seams falling apart and require a re sew! Like I say, looks great but will not last long (unless you are good with a needle and thread) Overall, expensive but it's Star Wars and everything is premium price! As per previous reviews, the quality is lacking for the price, however it looks ace on my 5 year old son. The belt is a little awkward to put on - no give in it, but it works! I can not stress enough the sizing - I got age 3-4 and it is MASSIVE!! If the costume lasts then I can see my son still fitting in this for years! Saw other reviews saying that the costume had frayed edges etc - mine came through perfect, but i wish that the actual material was better quality. Does what it is meant to do - looking forward to our geek convention next week.
