Great stepstool
I have had several stepstools over the years and find this is the one I keep coming back to. I used this at work and appreciate the fact that is is sturdy and steady when I step on it. I lost two of them in moves over the years, but keep buying it again and again.

My favorite kitchen stool
Even though this stool is a little bit pricey, it’s worth the $. We have had 2 more of these over the past 30 years and they are still in good working condition!

RUBBERMAID Not made like they used to
These library style stools are excellent by "type" but RUBBERMAID has let the manufacturing of this product go down hill in my opinion. I am disabled and need step stool on rare occasion I use one to roll without picking up to place it and to stay firm while standing on it. I've had two of this model in last 3 years and one wheel broke off within first 45 days of use. It's a plastic insert slot and either breaks or parts are cut wrong at factory so it slips out. Over the course of about 18 months of use, the plastic under bottom step cracked. There is nothing like this with wide gripping step that rolls and is firm, but the older RUBBERMAID products you remember from the past- this plastic version is not. But it does stay firm and stable in place.

Cheap and arrived broken
This step stool was just a piece of cheap plastic shipped in a box with no padding or other covering. One of the three legs was broken off when I opened the box with bits of plastic at the bottom. Made in the great USA and price charged WAY too much.

rubbermaid hits the jackpot!
My husband purchased this to use in our kitchen. Our cabinets are very tall and I have a hard time reaching the upper cabinet. Lo and behold, our three year old grandson has discovered this step stool and uses it as a seat! But I love it because it rolls on its wheels and when you step on it, the wheels lock into place so that it is very stable, when you stand on it. The only con that I can say about it,is that it is not terribly attractive. Mine is all black. I wish somehow Rubbermaid could have had a designer to make it a little more attractive !

Just right stool
This little stool moves effortlessly on wheels UNTIL you step on it. Then it's solid and safe to step up on and reach that shelf that's just a little too high. I have one in my small business and another in my home. Some of my staff like to sit on it when performing some tasks that require being closer to the floor. I bought my first one on a "lightning" deal, liked it so much that I had to purchase another for home.
