Would be better with the metal string hooks instead of the metal holes. Would be easier to lace up
I have used these boots for years for work, play and casual dress. Very comfortable and warm in the cold and cool in the heat. Just would prefer the hooks to lace up easier

Very comfortable
I was wearing Clark Desert boots daily because they are comfortable but gum sole wears out fast here in the desert. I had a pair of Roper canvas with gum soles and the canvas wore out before the soles. These got good reviews, been wearing daily and so far so good, other reviews say they last forever we shall see

Uncomfortable
No support at all in foot bed. I can't wear them all day, which is how boots should be. I even put an extra cushion in them, Still a No-Go. Waited to long or I would send back. Only reason I reason I gave them a 2 star is they look cute with my jeans. What a waste to have boots for that reason.

The lacing does require to put the last 2 stands through the eyes vs. around a clip. Wide fit.
I do like that the shoes are light, but there is not much padding. Therefore; I have inserted my own custom inserts for my feet. I just did not like the wider fit, it appears the shoe buckles more because of that. I thought i had ordered the same type of riding boot I always have in the past, but this is a different shoe. I am not totally displeased with the shoe, but suggest that manufacturer changes the last two eyes for lacing purposes to wrap around vs. threading type.

Loved these
I had some boots similar to these back in the 90’s but they were made by Justin. These are the closest I’ve found to them and I like them.

These things are comfortable
Really like these they fit like they are supposed to and look and feel great.

Like my kilttie better
Like my kilttie better, but really are the same. I wore the killties 95% of the time during the day (10 hrs) and they broke down in the foot bed region, after months. This causes me a lot of discomfort but I had to go the distance. Will buy again but got these because of color. Both tighten up mid lace during the work day, not good. I'm on the go at least 14 hrs a day and won't sit down. I know I'm hard on these and this is far from a bad review. My J Ropers or most others do not give me this problem but I like the style.

I like these boots. The fit Pertty darned good. And they're pretty darned light weight. With these boots on, I can run fast and jump high. Well, as fast as am old guy can and as high as a fat man would. I just really love a Brogan boot over all for work. And the little Kittle thingy makes look that much more... Well, makes Em look prettier. There , I said it. They're as pretty a boot as I've ever had. I would recommend them for anyone who wants and needs a good work boot, well a pretty AND good work boot. I do wish they had a little more padding for my tired feet. But two pair of socks help.

Great boots
I love these boots a couple of weeks after I bought them bought 2 more pair and are in closet. I wear boots on the job and in the office they are almost 2 years old and still going. The only issue is back upper sticking has broke down but has no affect on the boot. If you want a lasting comfortable 12 hour a day boot these are the ones to buy
