A tale of woe

I have some problems sleeping because of some pain caused by a sensitive nerve in one of my elbows and so I was looking for something that would help with that. I saw several products but I liked this one because of the gel pack so I ordered it. Problem 1: When the package from Rolyan arrived a few days later I found that they had shipped me a hand-strengthening device instead. I contacted Amazon and they were kind enough to replace it. Problem 2: This time when it arrived it was the right product, but apparently I had asked for a small and it turns out that that's something that I think a small child would have trouble warning. That was my fault. Problem 3: I'm a guy who's 5'6" and the diameter of my arm about an inch above the elbow is 10 1/2" and I almost always wear Medium in other things. Since there's no size chart that I could find and because Medium wasn't available I ordered a Large one hoping it wouldn't be too large. Problem 4: When it arrived it was a very tight fit, but I got on my arm. The problem is that the tightness caused caused pain so it's useless. Problem 5: Even if it had fit, the gel pad only measures about 3 3/8" W x 3 3/4" L and that's pretty small to cover a bent elbow without exact adjustment. I also just noticed now while I was measuring it, that the pad in the one I wore has shifted so it's no longer aligned with the sleeve. Problem 6: I don't want to try to return it again, so I'm out over $50.

Was ok, but gel pad needs to be a little larger and softer

I used this on my elbow after cubical tunnel surgery. The gel pad could have been about an inch larger in each direction and a little softer. The pad was a little small to cover/protect my surgical incision near my elbow.

Nice padding where I need it

I suffer from "tennis elbow", and I wear this so resting my arm on the desk doesn't exacerbate my condition. During really painful days, I refrigerate this sleeve so the gel cools my elbow. It also goes over my copper sleeve for added support. I haven't tried washing it yet, but will do so on delicate and air dry.

Finally. . .Gel elbow protectors that work!!

I've had nerve damage in my elbows for 4 years now (Cubital tunnel syndrome) and haven't found anything to help protect them while I'm sitting. I had an idea of what I wanted but all I could find was cumbersome and restrictive. Until now! These elbow protectors are great and they have a comfortable fit! The gel pad is exactly what I need. Now I don't need pillows all around me just trying to get comfortable and relieve some of the pain. I would recommend these the anyone with nerve damage in their elbows. I don't know how they work for the heel though, as I don't need it for by heels.

Large isn't large enough

For my father-in-law, who was farm-strong back in his heyday, this large item wasn't large enough. We made cuts in the elastic to make it work without constricting his arms. The gel insert is excellent.

Finally the right size

Ordered this for my father-in-law, a truck driver who was having issues with his elbow. He's a big guy, and we'd ordered a couple "2XL" braces that turned out to not be big enough. This one worked, and really helped him with the pain.
