These are extremely comfortable shoes. Great style great value. I had purchased these to replace an older J&M shoe, similar in style. Saved mo ey and happy with quality and comfort

Very comfortable

I wear a 9.5 wide shoe. Hard to find wide width shoes. These fit great and are comfortable right out of the box. First time I wore them I was on my feet from 7am to 9pm. Feet felt good. They're light and I was worried about support but they came through.

Very long, pointy toes - and are these real leather?

The cut of these shoes is very strange. As other reviewers noted, they are cut like cowboy boots - the toes are very long and pointy. I ordered my usual size and there was way over an inch between the end of my toe and the end of the boot. And are these real leather? These boots are extremely light weight, the uppers are very, very smooth and nothing on Rockport's web site, Amazon's description or the boot itself says that the uppers are actually leather. Usually, Rockport makes a point of saying that its shoes/boots are made of a certain type of leather, but not these boots. They felt cheap and plastic-y.

Rockport doing us bad

I have bought shoes from Rockport since 2015…. Really only worn these shoes / chukkas everyday. The new footwear the company is putting out is sad and disappointing. The quality has gone down, everything from the sole / rubber of the shoe to the actual fit. These ones are pointy and squeeze’d the foot. When you walk they make front half of your foot feel constrained. This company has given me some of the best shoes of my life, but recently the designer or maybe a cut in material cost have really changed the footwear and my interest.
