Cheap boots and I'm not referring to the price

These boots are poorly made and cheap looking. There is no insole to speak of- zero padding. The instep and shaft are loose (and I have a high instep) while the toe box was a bit narrow resulting in a terrible fit. The shaft is a bit tall, which I thought would be a good thing but they are too tall and loose around my cankles for my skinny jeans and simultaneously too short for cropped wide leg pants. The gusset of the right boot arrived with a dab of glue on it and after 6 hours of wear the gusset on the left boot began to fray and now has a piece of elastic hanging out. I needed new black boots in a hurry for my Thanksgiving travel but I would have been better off going without. These boots are horrible. They were not expensive at $38 but they were a complete waste of money.

Scuffed easily - before I even left my apartment. And there is surprisingly low padding in the sole. Usually boots are thicker soled but this feels like walking in flats but at a slight angle with the heel. It's a little weird each time

These were comfortable right out of the box

These were comfortable right out of the box. I work on my feet all day and these boots stay on my feet even after I get home. The heel height is just right and the boots make very little noise when walking on floors. I have to admit that I had to try to zip the sides even though I knew they were decorative. At least no one was looking when I did this. You can wear a thicker sock too, which is kind of nice when it is butt cold outside.

It's not them, it's me

I had high hopes based on the review by someone who also struggles with skinny legs, but I still look like I'm playing dress-up in these. Returned them, but would recommend them for people who don't have birdlegs.

These boots take a few weeks of wear to break in (are stiff at first; no blisters though) but once you do they are incredibly comfortable. They have enough room to wear a wool sock underneath in the winter. Would highly recommend!

Cute boots which go well with leggings/tights and dress. Sole a bit slippy so be careful if wearing in winter.
