Performed as Hoped for

I have used it twice to raise the pH in my 20,000 gallon pool. Both times using the recommended dosage it performed as I expected.

Lots of rain for 2021

This is the first year I have had to use quite a bit of this as we have had just tons of rain at times. Its also the first year I've ever had to drain water multiple times because of that. I didn't once add water to the 30k gallons. This product performs appropriate to the instructions given. Need to raise the ph to X, add this amount. Fairly spot on when you consider the other chemicals you add also that my affect ph in both ways. With that, I consider it a great value for the money, but only if you can purchase it in larger quantities. Second year of owning a pool. The first year was the opposite, I had to add ph down in most instances. The product keeps well in its original packaging, however for long storage, I keep it in its own, additional container to prevent possible moisture. Even then, I dont think it would make much difference, it would just be a little harder to pre-mix in water.

Works very quickly

We’ve had a lot of rain recently and my pool chemistry was throw off a bit. The pH was around 6.9 and my total alkalinity was about 70. I bought a bag of this stuff and followed the instructions. 6 hours later and my pH was 7.6 and total alkalinity was up to 100. Much better! Quick shipping from Amazon as well. Recommended!

Takes a lot to raise PH

It seems like this might be weak stuff, it takes quite a bit to raise PH. But it's also one of the cheaper PH UP products so it probably "balances" out.
