Travel Perfect

Impressive little shaver

This was delivered less than an hour ago. Read the instructions, sterilized it, put fresh batteries in and gave it a whirl. Um, this little thing is sweet! Works beautifully. See, I have thick, course hair (of Portuguese decent) and if I use traditional razors, it's not pretty - I'll let Your imagination run. Any-hoo, I cannot shave with traditional razors under my arms without dire consequences. This little electric shaver does not cut right down to the bare skin which is good for me. It gets close enough to the skin to almost disappear but not enough to cause the cut hair to curl in on itself and create ingrown hairs and then a nasty breakout. It makes noise but is not obnoxious. It vibrates but not terribly. I can see a tween+ using this safely with supervision by an adult. I tried it out on the back of my upper legs, my forearms and my underarms. Yeah, from first use, this one's a keeper. It was easy (after >reading the instructions!

Gets the job done

It's a little noisy, but it's good for quick tough ups or missed spots in the shower.

Good for first time shaver!

I am a mom to little lady who is learning to shave and thought this would be a great start to teaching her. It is easy to hold and didn't take long for her to learn how to press down and move the shaver (she was really nervous and thought she would cut herself). I love that you can move it either way, up or down, and get a good shave. I've used it a few times in a crunch and it get pretty clean off except for a few stubborn stragglers, they'll just get really short once I've worked on it a bit. What I didn't love was the cleaning because some hairs were in harder to clean areas of the product. Also, the replacement blades cost more than the product themselves and ours got rusty after a few months. The rust part seems normal, and buying a $10 shaver for a few months is still more affordable than every few weeks.

Must have

I have been using this shaver for almost a year. I use it on everything with no problems. I have super sensitive skin and this is one of the only methods of hair removal I can use that doesn't cause any irritation for me. The only bummer is that I couldn't find any replacement heads (for the blade?/foils?) on amazon and it seems to be getting a bit dull after a year so I am going to have to buy a new one which is a bit annoying if you're trying to be eco-friendly. But other than that I highly recommend this for your primary method of hair removal!

very disappointed.

Was wanting this for chin hair ( had an older - other name brand for years!!! until I dropped and broke) thought I would try this. Would take a few times to get the hair, which was kind of a drag, and does not hold its charge. I am not going to go through so many batteries for an inexpensive product that is just ok to begin with

Works As Advertised

I've had problems razor on my skin and always hated when I would cut my leg up from using normal disposable razors. I had one similar to this one before and it had stopped working after a month of use, but that's probably because I got it from Dollar General. I've had it for a few weeks and so far I'm really liking it. It hasn't caused me any scratches or cuts and I don't get that "white scrape" on my skin from when I used normal disposable razors. If you're in need of ditching regular razors, then I would say give this one a try. The only thing that actually bothers me is that it slips out of my hand sometimes, but that's probably because of the water. That doesn't really have a solution aside from the company that makes these maybe adding a grip so it doesn't slip out of your hand when you're using it in the shower.

Beneficial if you have sensitive skin or other skin conditions

It works good for the price. I can retire my Lady Kenmore now lol. If you have sensitive skin or maybe prone to eczema/psoriasis then you want to avoid regular razors and use something like this. It's quick and convenient and does a very close shave. I've been using a much older corded shaver and after a short while leg hair doesn't grow back as much or as thick, and especially NO crazy making itchiness. This product does a way better job of course compared to my vintage one lol

I rec'd exactly what I hoped for!

Years ago, I bought a Remington razor locally which I needed to find a replacement for. It is a different shape than the Fushia/White Remington razor showing in this ad. While reading the reviews for the Remington Fushia/White mini razor, seeing images beside their notes, one review caught my eye captioned: "Great Buy recommend this" This product Reviewed in Canada on October 9, 2019 ". Her photo showed the exact same shape/color razor I actually owned from years ago she had acquired in 2019. I am not saying the other shape in Fushia/White is not a good little razor, I just wanted one like the shape I already have. I took a chance, ordered the product through Amazon.ca & am happy to receive the razor shaped like my original one! (except it has a new pattern - see image). I notice people are asking about where this razor could be used. When little, my mom told me she did not ever shave her legs nor use any kind of hair removal spray, & advised me not to do the same. I followed her lead & wisdom. I would use it in other places if I needed to. I love this little Remington Razor, it fulfills my needs for underarm hair removal. I am fortunate to not have had to worry over any other areas due to listening to the wisdom of my mom years ago.

Not bad!

I would use this as more of a "trimmer" rather than a "shaver" as it doesn't get the closeness of shaving like I'm used to and prefer. Convenient for travel and good for quick touch ups but I much rather shaving with a razor in the shower. The product is different than advertised with slightly different shape and different colour pattern. Overall I would recommend for the price point but I wouldn't buy this if you're looking for the same results as shaving.

Definitely easy

It's not the *closest* shave of you have thick hair (those lil black specks are hard to get rid of), but will absolutely do in a pinch (or anytime, if your standards are more on the "good enough" side... Or if you have thin hair... It works wonderfully on my arms). It's my first electric shaver and did take a bit of getting used to to get the motion right but I've been very happy with this once I did figure that out. Now if only we could travel again.

Who would have though I could get so many brownie points for $20

Was looking at beard trimmers and saw this, until now my wife always used razors, I kind of surprised her with it, at first she was hesitant but gave it a go, turns out she loves it and has been using it every 3 or so days since I got it for her. she's used it a good 10+ times and we haven't had to change the batteries yet (we got amazon basics alkaline batteries). It doesn't work good on long or thick hair but works really well on leg hair which is why I got it for her, her words next: It saves me so much time and works just as good! With that said, her old normal razors were about $4.50 a razor, she would get 2 uses from a razor before tossing them so about $20 a month, so this thing has basically already paid for itself and is still going strong so now it's just money in the bank.. Definitely recommend it but have reasonable expectations, if you have coarse gorilla hair don't expect this to work great. Will definitely get her another if this one were to break but there's no signs of wear so meh.
