The navy pair are super cute and stylish but I would advise to widen up if you intend wear a thicker pair of socks with them

Given the reviews saying these ran narrow, I purchase two pairs, one wide and one regular in size 8 (my normal size, but sometimes in boots, I can wear 8.5). Since reviews said these ran longer I chose to stick with the size 8. This is what I found: They fit very similar, almost the same, which explains why people who needed a "wide" width would find they're not wide enough. The length was perfect on either. I almost kept the regular size 8, which being genuine leather would stretch out and conform to my foot, but after trying them on with thicker hiking type socks, I felt the "wide" would be more comfortable and required less break in stretching time. Additionally if walking or hiking a lot, my feet could swell some so the wider fit would be more comfortable. Overall I would suggest a wider size over the regular as I agree they fit a little narrow. If your feet are truly wide, get the double wide to feel any difference. Also, I will comment these are nice and warm but are still thinner than some sheepskin lined/sherpa lined boots (basically they're nice suede with the sherpa lining- no additional padding but supportive around the ankles and cozy) and the bottom insole is very flat without much support. As one reviewer said they're not hiking boots, but I'd still wear them as such once in a while. I chose the wider pair also because I added my own arch support and cushioning which makes them fit like a dream now. They are very stylish and well made in my opinion otherwise, you just have to get the right size for your needs.

Kept my feet warm, dry and comfortable (have bunions)

I ordered these boots in a last ditch effort to try to get winter boots for my trip to Lake Tahoe, and these actually worked out amazingly well! I ordered the 2E width and it was actually wide enough for both my feet. I have severe bunion on both of my big toes (was born with them), and find it really difficult to find any comfortable shoes to wear at all in the width I need, which is a 2E or wider. I also have a small foot (in length), and wear a size 7. So the fact that these boots came in the length I needed and had the 2E width was life changing for me in terms of comfort and functionality, as the shape of my feet don’t work well with 99% of the shoes made for women, sadly. I would definitely buy this brand again and have been really pleased with these shoes the entire times I’ve owned them. It’s so nice to not have to sacrifice having warm and dry feet and also comfortable feet that aren’t screaming inside a too tight toe box. As someone who has struggled with shoes her entire life, it was a huge relief to find this brand, and this particular shoe.

Pretty okay.

I scoured the internet for reviews on this boot and this brand before I bought and couldn’t find a thing, so I took a chance. Here’s what I wish I would have known: To be clear this is not a hiking boot. Some places on the interweb advertised it as one, it’s not. I ordered a 9.5 wide which is my normal size, and at first they fit totally great and my feet were toasty warm! But after a couple weeks of wear I really wish I had ordered a 9. The fluffy and warm lining wore down and the leather stretched a bit and now my boots are too long and too wide in the ankle area and not as warm as they once were. Also the sole on the bottom looks like it’s the same size as for a normal width shoe with some added support stuff around the edges, so you kind of still have the “my foot is too wide for this shoe” look That being said, they are wearing in but still look and feel good, I get lots of compliments on them. And I have inspected many times and the seams seem to be holding up well and all around not falling apart, which is what I was worried about with trying a new brand. And the red is nice, a pop of color but not obnoxious.

Cute wide width boots

For kind of an impulse purchase, I am thrilled with these boots. They are comfortable wide enough for my feet while still looking cute. I removed the insole, and that combined with the low tread mean these are great for day to day wear but not say hiking or being on my feet all day long. They are moderately water resistant in the rain and look to be pretty durable if thin soled. I'm rarely so happy with shoes, but I would happily get these again!

Walking Boots

I took a walk in my boots today. I do like the style and color of boot. I don't like the lack of arch support for long-term wear. Most boots have some type of arch support, but these have a strange springy feel in the balls of the feet. I think it would be fine if you add a shoe insert for better support on the feet. I'm going to give that a try before returning them. I hoped I'd got more comfort overall though.

Best boot ever

This is the best hiking boot and work boot I have ever owned. Your feet do not hurt and absorbs impact of walking on concrete. This boot is a piece of heaven if you plan on walking miles.

like much

the length is good but as some said, the width is kinda 'narrow' and i do not have 'substantially wide' feet. i am wearing them with thick socks and they feel nice. since they are insulated, i imagine that my feet will stay warm in chicago's winters. they are about 2 inches past my ankles so wont work in deep snow. i wore them to work as a teacher and my feet felt fine after 9 hours.

A great bootie for the Fall

It has only been a few years since I discovered Propet shoes. I have pretty narrow feet and have been impressed by how well their narrows have fit me. Most of the styles have decent arch support as well. I purposely bought this bootie in a medium width because it already has ankle support and I would be wearing heavier socks as well so I wanted more room. It does take a bit of wiggling to get my feet into them but once on they are very comfortable. They could have more arch support.

The best boots

Possibly the best little boot I have ever bought. There are not many circumstances where when you put on a new shoe or a new boot and you don't have to break them in. This is what I had with these boots... there was no need to break them in. They felt comfortable and perfect from the 1st day I wore them - and I did it without socks! I bought the green colour and it is just so beautiful and they wear well in the rain, no staining and the colour has not run. What else can I say, except that I am thinking of buying another pair in another colour! Thank you,

Great style and fit!

I ordered this in an 11 2E width (normally a size 10 shoe) and it fits my foot perfectly. I absolutely love the green colour, it's very stylish, along with being comfortable!

Buy ‘em!

I have REALLY wide feet so probably could have used a 4E but these boots don’t come in that width like some of their shoes do. So I worked hard at stretching them and I really like them! I get a lot of compliments on them! They are warm in the winter but I just go from my house to my car to work. Yes I would buy them again! I’m having a lot of luck with Propet shoes! I really appreciate their width range!

Great boot

Good quality, as always from Propet. Love the colour, I purchased the navy. Ordered a wide size, since I wanted to wear heavy socks, & they are perfect. Fit true to size. I expect them to be good on the ice this winter, & thankfully haven't had any experience with that yet!
