Awesome deal and fast shipping!
Product does an awesome job trimming exhaust and head gaskets from steel-reinforced gasket sheets. The material is regrettably impervious to my laser cutter, but I can stick a blank shipping label on the gasket sheet, and then cut the paper on the label with the laser, and peel the label away from everything but the finished gasket shape. This tool is excellent for those pesky inner radii/fillets, where I cannot quite reach with tin snips. I just get close to the line with the jilson shears, and then ON the line with these nibblers. I was skeptical about cutting curvatures with this, but it handles them very nicely, and turns out a very good OEM quality gasket. Just keep a large open box or cookie sheet at your feet to catch any metal shavings, and keep some fine needlenose pliers handy in case one of the shavings jams up the nibbler on the right side (opposite the "wedge" side that cuts the material. It happens every now and then, but just yank the piece out with the pliers and you are back in business.

Works, but leaves pieces of metal attached
The nibbler works pretty well, but it is not tight on one side and leaves small shards of metal still attached.

Well made, just what I needed for an exhaust replacement job
When a bathroom exhaust fan became intolerably loud, I thought I had found a perfect replacement, but it turned out that the cutout for the AC receptacle in the new fan's baseplate was just a bit misaligned. Amazon to the rescue - this nibbler allowed me to easily enlarge the opening to allow me to complete the installation. The tool is well made, with quality finish (chrome?).

Small changes are not a big deal.
I have already used this on plastic, cardstock, and soft metal. It is well made, really useful, and super easy to use. I also own another brand that cost four times as much and, although it is slightly different, does almost the same thing. This is a great value. I'm sure many crafters and modelers will find this to be a useful addition to their toolbox.

This nibbler does a decent job for a low priced tool
This nibbler works well on light gauge metals. It will easily cut aluminum up to 1/16" thick and probably a little more. But the jaws won't open far enough to cut much more (not to mention the fact that your hand would tire rapidly). I have cut 1/16" aluminum and, most recently, I used it to cut rectangular openings in 26ga steel siding. It worked well. The biggest problem is getting it back into position for the next cut. It's easier to do this in aluminum than it is in steel. It seems to work best to cut toward yourself. Keep it lubricated or it may jam.

Works well but not super durable
The item is lightly built, so while it works well, it has trouble with heavier ducting sheet metal. The handles are not very long, so not much leverage and requires hand strength. The tool was sort of worn out after cutting one 9x12" hole in ductwork, but for the price, it was worth it for me. I think it would work great on plastic or aluminum.

Good value!
Perfect for modifying a steel computer case! Depending on the cutting angle, every now and then you may have to remove the tool to shake out some metal slugs, but it's not really a big deal. Read the back of the package for some clues on how to use it. For instance, remove the tool from the cut channel, turn it 90 degrees, then replace the tool in order to make a right angle in your cut. It's a great value at around 15 bucks.

Adequate for intentions
I used this product to gain access into my heating duct. It did the job but was clumsy to use as it lifted itself out of the cut with every nibble.
