Good product at a fair price

This was easy to install and is very sturdy. I use it on my front door screen door which gets plenty of activity.

I needed two of them to keep it from slamming

I needed two of them to keep it from slamming at 3” away from shutting. Slow, slow, slow, CLICK, BANG!!! Impossible to adjust to prevent it from slamming.

I think I got 3 months use from this. I wouldn't buy this brand again.

Excellent closer!

This was a replacement closer for our backdoor storm door. The door is used almost exclusively when we enter/leave the house. The closer that was on the door was so worn out that it wouldn't close and latch the door without it being adjusted to the point that the storm door would slam shut. This new closer fit the original mounts on the door without any modifications necessary. It is definitely more heavy duty than the old one and now the storm door closes and latches as it should without slamming shut! I would recommend this closer to anyone whether you are needing a replacement or one for a new door installation.

Good quality.

Good closer just make sure install a chain. I didn’t, glass door. Someone left on a windy day and door didn’t shut. Hyperextended the cylinder and now it’s garbage. One of them still works, but is weak.

Easy to install

I bought this to replace one just like it except the failed one had some sort of feature to hold it open. This new one has the sliding washer to hold it open and I have had that same feature on past door closer. (Meaning I understand how to use it) This was a chinch to install and I was able to easily adjust the close speed.

This was a replacement for a 22 year old closer, same size, it appears that I should have replaced it quite some time ago as this one does very well with closing the door.
