This product was meant to replace an old unit which was worn enough that the latch would slip and hook when the door was closed, locking people outside. This new handle failed on the first day. The wooden piece was very loose in the metal, requiring compression as there was no adjustment option. After drilling new holes and lining everything up, the tumbler won't turn when the key is turned. The tumbler unit appears too cheap to function properly. Finally, the latch catch was so small that the latch struggles to enter on every use. Poor product design. I will be returning.
