Best to SIZE UP

Lighter-weight pique than I am used to buying, but good quality. I am VERY glad that I chose to purchase a “size up” , as shirt does not run “true to size” as advertised. IF it does not shrink after washing, I will purchase more. Color is better than shown .

runs marginally small, good look

I didn't wear this until after washing it and allowing it to drip dry (so, no shrinkage in the dryer) and it seemed to run just a bit smaller than other polo shirts of the same size. Even after washing with no ironing, it hung very smoothly and looked neat. The collar didn't curl after washing as sometimes happens on polo shirts. I liked that it wasn't too long in the front or back and seemed to be designed for a smarter look (as those with longer front and back "flaps" can look somewhat untidy). This is definitely one of my favorite points about it. The feel is soft and comfortable and I didn't find that I sweat in it as much so the fabric seems pretty beathable. The color is very good and true to what is shown on the product page.

Reminded me of older retail polo shirts.

I like the knit style. It reminded me of the old retail shirts I had in high school and college. For those of you who remember those kinds of shirts. It's rough at first touch because of the texture, but as you actually feel it and wear it. Fit was also good. It is a rather enjoyable wear for me. Sadly though it is not a moisture wicking fabric or weave so walking in 84 degree weather for a couple hours definitely got me soaked. But it did breath and it wasn't stiflingly hot. The shirt was rather neutral so not bad considering the heat outside.

Excellent material

I love the material of this polo shirt. The material of the shirts we got for my husband from a large well-known department store aren't quite as nice as these. The collar is particularly nice, it lays flat and doesn't curl up or get rumpled. Washes nicely, and I hang it or lay it flat to dry (because it's the perfect size for my husband as it is).

Nice Polo

This is very nice, standard polo shirt and I am happy with it. Looks good, fits as expected, not too thing, washes nicely, and does not require ironing. Perfect spring and summer go-anywhere shirt.
