Great cage

Would only recommend for single parakeet

I was expecting by the dimensions listed that this cage would accommodate 2 parakeets but it is only large enough for one. It is good quality but the roof was difficult to get lined up and attached. With the cups on the outside and the covers on them, there is little mess on the floor. It would have gotten a 5 star if large enough for 2 parakeets. Would probably work for 2 finches.

Quality construction

This bird cage was exactly what I was looking for. Excellent quality, lots of features, easily assembled. Raised four blue birds to fledgling status.

Too small

I have a canary, thought it would have been big enough, but i was wrong, way too small even after I read measurements.

Very cheaply made

I just received this today and am very disappointed in the quality and price. After ordering this I found the same cage on amazon where I got this one with a $10.50 coupon off. I can return this one but I have already put it together and would have to take it apart and repack it , make an appointment with the UPS store to send it back and then drive 15 or so miles each way to the UPS store to drop it off. SO I have decided to keep it and cancel the other one that had the 10.50 off. Hope they will cancel the other one. Not Happy! Would be easier just to refund me the $10.50.

Elegant, Easy, Quality!

I bought the South Beach flattop bird cage by Prevue to use as my little parakeet’s vacation home/beach house. ( I know that sounds like he is terribly spoiled—and he is!). I want to take him with us when we go to my daughter’s home for a visit, and although this cage would be too small for his permanent home, it will probably be just fine for a few days, and it sure beats leaving him at home alone, which I just could not do. Other benefits are that I can easily move him out to the sun porch for some much needed sunshine, or around the house for a change of pace for an hour or so, or just to sit closer to me when I am in my recliner. This cage was SUPER easy to put together, even for me. Would probably take most people five or ten minutes ( it took me 15 minutes but I am older with weak hands). It is quite sturdy (even more so than his big cage), and I think really cute. I like the design features like it’s colors and style, of course, but also the large access and limited access doors and the design of the food and water cup windows. I compared a lot of small cages and this one was just that much bigger that I felt it was the best I could get my little Sky and I am very glad I did! I feel this is a quality product and worth the price.
