Piel Leather rocks!

I love the feel of the leather. The pictures and description show that the bag has a magnetic snap closure. My bag does not, but I actually like it that way. It allows me to quickly access the contents. I was surprised that this bag has metal feet on the bottom to protect it. Those were not shown in the pictures. I'll take those over the snap closure. It's like Piel knew exactly what I needed!

Bag I got is not at all like the photo shown here.

The bag I received looked nothing like this photo. It was not tall like the bag in the photo - it was short (about half the height of the bag shown) and very long and was a carrot orange color instead of a nice saddle brown. It was as if they took the bag from the photo, cut the top half off and doubled the length then changed the color to orange. It was such an odd shape and color that I immediately returned it. It never would have worked - stuff would fall out all over. No closure and the straps were thin so the whole bag was just way off. Too bad. I really wanted the exact bag from the photo - which is what I thought I was ordering. I saw one on Etsy that really looks like the Chanel shopper bag Rachel McAdams carried in the film "Midnight in Paris", which is what this one aspires to be but falls short.

Perfect simple, daily bag!

Great quality leather. Four metal feet on bottom and magnetic clasp at top. One interior zipper pocket plus an interior open pocket sized for iPhone. Fully lined in a neutral woven material. Nicely seamed inside and out.

Cockroach in the packaging!

I just opened the package and the bag itself is good -a little smaller in size, but quality and build are all good. The reason for the one star review is that when I opened the bag, there was a cockroach, yes, a LIVE cockroach sitting on the bag!! I freaked out and tried to get it and it was so live and well, it tried to run away. I have no idea how it got there and survived, but it was utterly disgusting. I don't know what I want to do with the bag anymore.

I love this bag

I love this bag. It is well made and perfect for work or travel. The color is even better in person. It's slim and light weight but still holds plenty.

great leather

I love the bag, my daughter gave me this bag for Christmas last year...I love the leather the size is medium..i would give it 5 stars but the stitches started to come apart on the bottom corner..I had it fixed . But I do love it. It's not for everyday use. I would recommend it because the leather is so nice...by the way I have purchased 3 other piel purses and love them all
