Replaced an old one

I bought this to replace a doorbell that was on my house when I moved in. It quit working so I bought this one and gave it a try. It seems to be working fine. I didn’t need anything fancy just something to let me know someone is at the door. I programmed one for the front door and one for the back door and so far so goo and the volume seems to be set right, glad it is adjustable. I would buy again.

EASY INSTALLATION AND SET-UP

The headline says it all. There are eight choices for tone. Each doorbell can have its own unique chime. My only criticism is that the wall plug for the bell is bigger than what I would like, such that it almost blocks using the second plug outlet.

Everyone's buying Rings, no local sellers for two or three button doorbells.

It's got two buttons, each button will ring different (or the same if you want it) so you can tell the difference between front and back door. Receiver plugs directly into AC outlet. Buttons use 2032 watch battery. Wished it would have been a AAA sized battery.

Works fine, but cover not too secure

When your wired doorbell stops working, this is a economic and simple replacement alternative. My only complaint is the outside cover doesn't always snap securely to the base (especially if you screwed the base to the outside wall too tight and warped the base slightly). The base part with the electronics and the cover part with the button are secured together only by a weak thin plastic tab at the bottom. Do not push that tab down trying to make it snap securely, or you may end up breaking it completely off as I did. Fortunately I had bought the two push button doorbell version and replaced the first with the second and didn't screw in the base to the wall as tight. The foam tape option I tried first didn't adhere well and was sagging which is why I screwed in the base to the outside wall instead. All that said, it's a good product and it works fine.

Good buy for $20

Easy install/setup, loud enough to go across whole house even around walls n corners. 2 remotes are plus the availability to add more remotes.

Quality at good price

Easy to install and the chime volume is very good. Able to switch sounds very easily. Didn't want one with a camera phone tie in. Just wanted a good old reliable doorbell and chime. Can plug in chime anywhere in house. A nice thing about this doorbell is the flat button battery which is good in very cold weather. The batteries are not expensive and should last a long time. Never have to recharge which always and eventually wears out.

Perfect for what we needed

My Dad’s house has the old style room to room speaker system. It has started having issues which has affected his doorbell and outdoor speaker. We are unable to use the existing outdoor wiring because of the speaker. This wireless doorbell is the perfect solution. Easy to install and great price. I installed one on front and back door with different chimes in under 10 minutes. Great product highly recommend.
