Simple, quick and clean
I bought 4 of these (actually 7, 3 for my other house and smaller cat family there) for my large cat family. I love this fountain. The wireless pump is the big attraction. Just pick it up, set it next to the sink, fill it or just clean it quick while it's there and set it back down. It hardly takes 2 to 3 minutes. I used to spend about 30 minutes cleaning each of my old fountains, plus dealing with the power cord the whole time and getting it all plugged back in. Maybe you might get a better picture if I make a list of comparisons of my old fountains to these. My old ones were made of clear Styrene like hard plastic. Sunlight would cause algae to grow. Also, the minerals in our tap water form mineral stains on that plastic and is very hard to remove without scuffing the clear plastic. This fountain has a different type of plastic that is very resilient. It's a semi opaque reservoir (so you can see the water level) and opaque top and so far seems to be algae and mineral stain resistant, if not proof. My old ones would let hair and debris slip pass the filter and clog the pump. This one forces all the water to pass through the filter, unless you overfill it, then it goes into the overflow hole, which is why they have a max fill mark on the side. I find it much easier and quicker to just pop the top off and pour the water in wholesale. My old ones would occasionally get a bug inside the reservoir. I finally figured out how, there is a vertical power cord tunnel in the back for the pump and they would crawl right up through it and fall into the water. This one eliminates that problem with the wireless pump. FYI the pump uses no batteries. It gets power through induction from the base. That's why the pump will stop when you lift it up. No cord to deal with when cleaning or filling. My old ones the top was difficult to remove and put back trying to get the pump to stay connected while struggling to get the top lined up right and seated. the pump had suction cups so when I removed the top, the pump would seperate from the tubing. A real pain. This one lines up super easy and sets right down. Then just snap the 2 latches over. No suction cups on the pump. It just sets in the recess like a puzzle piece fitting perfectly. Has a notch on one side. My old ones the cats like to rub their face against the corner. The way the top connected to the bottom their hairs would catch and build up in the tiny gap and would cause a wicking action and I would end up with half the fountain water on the floor. This hair build up would catch the water that got by the filter chamber. The water actually clinged to the underside of the top and once it touch that hair build up it just wicked out onto the floor. This one hasn't had that problem. I haven't even seen any of my cats rubbing on it. Maybe something about the different plastic. But I believe even if they managed to get hair in that little gap, it wouldn't leak out because the filter chamber is recessed and the water wouldn't go upward to cling the underside of the top. My old one had the filter chamber inside and underneath the top, which means I had to take the top apart to remove the filter. This one the filter is so easy to access from the top on the outside, just pop the filter cover off and pick it right up. You don't even have to stop the fountain from continuing to run. These filters are miles better than my old ones were. They were basically just rectangular sponges with half colored black which supposedly was the charcoal part. I was never really convinced they had any charcoal. The filters this new fountain have, you can feel the components sealed inside. In Summary, I have tried quite a few different brands of fountains over the years. I always ended up discovering design flaws and I would search for something better. I believe I hit the jackpot with this fountain. It has such a simple, logical, and efficient design. And with its innovative wireless pump and very quick and easy cleaning and filling ability, makes this fountain a joy to use. p.s. You know a lot of cats like to put their paws in the water and sometimes splash it out. I don't think any fountain can prevent that. Also, the way some of my cats lap the water, it tends to splash out a bit. I found a small puddle or two occasionally behind the fountain on the floor. It hasn't been an issue for me. I just fold up a small towel and lay behind the fountain. It was such a small amount of water and like I said, it has been only occasional. Maybe a back splash on the back would have been helpful in the design, but it's really a non-issue for me. This fountain is just too good to let something that trivial stop me from buying it. I hope you find my review helpful.

Saved my relationship with my cat
Okay I'm over exaggerating a bit, BUT my cat had gotten to a point where he REFUSED to drink out of his bowls and instead would sit on the bathroom counter and paw at or lick the faucet until either my husband or I turned on the water for him. He would drink for a long time, which we wanted because he was otherwise chronically dehydrated, but then we'd walk away and forget that the water was still running. Eventually we tried to discourage him from drinking from the tap, trying to break the habit. Of course this didn't work. Enter this waterer. The running water attracts my cat's attention, but doesn't run up my water bill like running the tap. Somehow the water stays cool in this. The filters and replacement pumps are very affordable. The QI-powered design is fantastic. All of the pieces come apart to make cleaning incredibly easy. Also, I was so surprised by how QUIET this thing is!! It's SILENT! I'm so glad I decided to get this!!!

Leaking water
I really love this water fountain and so do my cats . I love how quiet it is and how easy to clean it is. My only concern is the fountain started leaking water and hence has been ruining the cord. I thought maybe throughly cleaning it and changing the filters every two weeks would stop the fountain from leaking but no it’s still leaking all over my wooden floor. It’s very annoying. It was working fine for a month but suddenly it started leaking and continues to leak .

Leaking Problem
My cats loves this water fountain, however shortly after purchasing it I began to notice water leaking and collecting under the fountain, in between the base, and under the base. I'm not sure why this keeps happening but the water continues to leak out and around the power cord, I don't feel comfortable to allow my cats to continue to drink safely from this fountain. Aside from that, the fountain is awesome, super quiet, easy to fill and wash as well.

Super quiet fountain, but leaks a little
I love this fountain and so do my cats! I bought three of them and after a couple of days two of the fountains started to leak and get water around the base/ under and the cord that I had to unplug them for the safety of my cats. But the one is running like a champ! It holds a ton of water and easy to clean too!

Better than the first model.. sort of
So I had the first model for awhile and it was great. But I got tired of having to deal with the cord to the pump every time I had to clean it. This one solves that problem by having the pump be wireless. Great! Now cleaning everything is so much easier. The one downfall I’ve noticed is water leaking. I discovered that the water tray was becoming full and basically overflowing. I blame the filter for not having better water flow and or creating a seal that is too tight. To solve this problem I used a exacto knife to make the hole for the water filter just a tad bit larger. Now the water tray stays about 3/4 full rather than overflowing. Not ideal I know, but I like everything else about this fountain.

Cats love it!
This has been a wonderful water fountain for my cats. Only issue is that it either has a leak or keeps overflowing. Today, walked into bathroom and it wasn’t running. Picked up the base and have a puddle and the connector under is warm and sounded like it was sparking. Unplugged right away and set up the former solution. So sad, they love the water fountain.

A lot cuter in person!
I really wanted an aesthetic water fountain and was actually surprised with how much I love this! I would imagine buying the bluetooth one of these would have all the bells and whistles while looking minimalist and easy on the eye. Glad I tried this model out for now for the price! Really good cost~
