Stays put on counter, but food slips on smooth surface

This is my preferred material for a cutting board, as it cleans up well in the dishwasher. But, as one reviewer said, the surface is very smooth and some foods (e.g., tomatoes, onions) can easily slip out of your grasp when slicing. If your knives aren't very sharp, this will be a problem, because the food will move before the knife cuts into it. Eventually, as these boards become less smooth from use, it won't be as bad, but when new, you have to be real careful. As counterintuitive as it might sound, the sharper your knives, the easier it will be to avoid injury with these board.

So far so good

So far they have not warped, stained and are great. But this set is small. I'm going to get the 2 bigger sizes and see if they are equally good at not warping after being in the dishwasher...

Easy to use

Very hard plastic, so it doesn't get a bunch of grooves from cutting. Pretty loud, almost feels like cutting on glass because the plastic is so hard. Easy to wash and handy grooves for catching liquid.

Way smaller than expected

The type of cutting board is great and the brand is a good brand. However, these boards were waaayyy smaller than I expected them to be and I was disappointed to be honest. Still some good boards tho. I’d suggest double checking the dimensions of this product prior to buying.

Very sturdy and nice surface

These boards feel very sturdy and good quality. The surface is nice and smooth and is a lot easier to clean than my previous plastic cutting boards.

Met expectations, would recommend

Got these after purchasing our first quality knife set to stay away from bamboo and others recommended against as “hard on knife sharpness”. So far they are superb. The surfaces are smooth and clean, easy to wash and the drop corners/edges are helpful. The thickness is enough that they haven’t bent or warped, although if you’re looking for a butcher’s block, these are not; for our kitchen they’re perfect for paring and smaller work. The rubber feet slide a bit on our polished stone/resin counters, and might drop better in other materials, but they’re still much more stable than our old, thin oxo colour coded cutting boards. With this set being used, I will definitely purchase the larger version to complete the set.

Another outstanding product from Oxo!!!!!

These are great cutting boards and we really like having 2 different sizes. They don’t move when you are cutting and they are easy to clean. I would recommend these cutting boards and we will definitely buy this brand again. We have always been a fan of Oxo!!

Great cutting board

I have tried bamboo boards and wood boards and had no luck. just wanted something easy to use in my own kitchen. this one hasn't slid around the bench (as other reviews had mentioned) and it hasn't warped in the dishwasher. i think its the right size to be able to prepare a dinner for a couple / family. I actually haven't had any knife marks in it yet either, although i suspect from the material i might get some in future. (not an issue for me though). very happy i purchased it!
