Choose your fit carefully

Package just arrived today 3 weeks after ordering and 2 weeks after product was shipped. I usually wear an XL with my other Penguin shirts but since this is slim fit, I chose an XXL. Shirt is comfortable and design is excellent as usual. Fit runs a tad big and a tad long for my Asian built and compared to my other non slim fit Penguin XL shirts. Thinking of ordering another if and when the price is right but I don't want to risk sizing down since I am not from the US.

Inconsistent pricing & runs small so choose carefully...

UPDATE (11/3/16): I will not be adding a fifth star to this rating. This shirt is made in China and while it is labeled 100% cotton, I don't believe it. It feels and wears more like a blend - it doesn't breathe like 100% cotton based on my experience and consequently it feels hot. The double-layer collar doesn't retain its shape well (with some inevitable bunching). Otherwise, this shirt has maintained its size & shape and has proven to be of sufficient quality. At a solid 4 stars this shirt is worth purchasing, but be sure to heed the sizing and price advice in my original review below... Original review (2/23/16): These shirts run very small! Trust me on this, unless you are very slim & like snug shirts, buy two sizes larger than you normally would. Once you find the right size, these shirts seems to be of nice quality and look pretty sharp. I saw the other reviews stating this brand runs small, so I wasn't sure if I should try one size or two sizes larger than normal. I found a color that came with Prime shipping and "FREE Returns", so I ordered just one size larger initially. Sure enough, it was too small, so I sent it back and tried the next size up with favorable results. Then I ordered another. As far as I can tell, "XXX Large" is the same as "3X" and similarly "4X is the same as "XXXX Large". I mention this because another thing to watch out for is the pricing! Some color & size combinations are as high as $69, while the color/size I ordered was $16.90. For example, as of this writing the 4X "Classic Blue" is $69.00, while the very similar XXXX Large "Snorkel Blue" is going for $38.36. One thing I plan to do is keep an eye out on these shirts and see if the pricing fluctuates. I've purchased two at less than $20 and may be in the market for more if the price drops for other colors/sizes. For some reason it's hard to find a polo shirt these days with a nice pocket. This pocket accommodates my Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone with its Otterbox Symmetry case - it peeks out just a bit at the top. These shirts are comfortable and are 100% cotton. If they don't shrink and prove to be of durable quality I will update this review and add another star.

Way huge

After all the reviews about these shirts being sized wrong, I tried on a Medium at the store. It was tiny, crushed me, so I ordered a large here. The shirt that arrived is like a circus tent. It's gigantic. I got lucky in that my neighbor said he wants it so I don't have to mess with a return now. This. This is why ordering clothes online is awful.

Stylish / Does not fit

The shirt is amazing and so stylish, amazing! It just doesn’t fit!:( Such a shame, I’ve really been wanting to wear it, but unfortunately it looks like it’ll have to stay in my closet, unused!:/

Size is smaller than normal

I got the XXL and the shirt is very short at the bottom, and very tight on the shoulders. This is Large size or less than XL size, I don't recommend it for guys who wear XXL, this is NOT an XXL size.

Authentic brand, sweet product - and waaaay less expensive here on Amazon.

I saw this shirt in an Original Penguin airport mall store, but the US exchange rate (and my lack of duty-free quota on that trip) made purchase prohibitive. I then tried to buy directly from the US-based Original Penguin website, but that collapsed in complicated shipping fees. On a whim I looked for it here on Amazon, and lo and behold, there it was -- for far less than anything I'd have paid for it in America. Amazing. The shirt itself is great -- exactly the authentic product that caught me eye in the shop.

The fit is on the big side, but the quality and detail is awesome. Really nice polo, so much nicer than any other I have tried, including the iconic Lacoste.
